A mute will be imposed on any clan member who is blatantly breaking the clan chat rules and continues to do so even after being asked to stop or change the subject. We do not want to listen to your arguments in the clan chat. We will not allow offensive language in the clan chat. This includes: Racist or sexist remarks, jokes or account names. Each member, regardless of rank, has a right to a non-offensive clan chat environment. Refer to the rules here [qfc]92-93-899-65221820[/qfc] if you don’t know why you were muted. A first offense will result in a 24 hour mute and demotion to recruit. When you are unmuted, you will be restored to your previously held rank. You may also pm clan leaders during this time if you would like to talk or explain your behavior. Repeated offenses will result in extended and/or permanent demotions up to and including a kick from the clan. At this point the repeat offender will be added to the clan ban list will not be allowed to return. [u*Attention Admins+ Please read the following post for muting instructions.
Hello admins+, This is a brief tutorial on how to mute members who have been behaving in a disruptive, inappropriate, or offensive manner. Step 1: Go to the clan panel in-game. At the bottom, you should expand your clan actions so you can select the yellow cog "Clan Settings." Step 2: Click the "Permissions" tab at the top, then select "Corporal." Once Corporal is selected, click on "Chat" tab. Step 3: Click the left option, which should say "Set this rank as the minimum to talk in Clan Chat." Please note that the box will remain checked. Step 4: Click on "Recruit" rank on the left side. Then click the "Chat" tab. The box on the Green guy with the R/S flag should be unchecked now. Leave it like this: This step is only to verify your mute has worked. Step 5: Click on the "Clanmates" tab at the very top. Demote the perpetrator to "Recruit" rank, effectively muting them. Step 6: While in this tab, please promote all other Recruits to Corporals, this way they are not muted as well. Unfortunately this is the only way to mute a member. If you cannot remember it, please come back here BEFORE you attempt to deal with a situation. Do NOT kick members for their activities, especially if it is first offense. Mutes will suffice until either Kitten or I can administrate further punishment.
