Greetings to all in Rome! From the newest peregrini to the highest patrician, this thread should provide all the need-to-know information to make your experience all the more fulfilling.

Here we will cover the TRE ranking system, how to earn Denarii, how to be considered for Senatorial positions, what rank means for you, and general guidelines.

All members will be required to acknowledge this guide in order to be eligible for promotion, and upon your acknowledgement you will receive a sizeable reward of 5 Denarii. To acknowledge this guide, simply posting on this thread saying you've acknowledged it will suffice.

What are denarii?

Denarius, as it is historically known, existed as Roman currency. In TRE denarius acts as our "activity points" which are earned in a multitude of ways. Denarii, or activity points, are earned by each member and are added up in order to achieve promotions - or in the future as a way to purchase entry into clan elections.

How do I earn denarii?

There are many ways to earn them! Different activities offer different amounts.

Recruit a member: 2 Denarii
Visit Citadel: 1 Denarius
Cap at Citadel: 2 Denarii
Attend Event: 2 Denarii
Attend Meeting: 3 Denarii
Read Members Guide: 5 Denarii
Join Discord: 5 Denarii
Host an Event 4+ People: 4 Denarii
Host an Event of 8+ People: 8 Denarii
Chat Activity: 4 Denarii (Weekly)
Forum Activity: 1 Denarius (Daily)
Clan Page Activity: 1 Denarius (Daily)
Administrative Pay: 5 Denarii (Weekly)
TRE Donations: 3-10 Denarii (See below)
Member of the Week: 3 Denarii

You can help us keep track of your denarii by posting in #citadel_caps and #recruitment_tracker on discord when you do each of those activities.

What happens as you earn denarii?

Well you progress further in Rome, of course! Each rank requires a higher amount of denarii to earn the promotion, and that amount will be subtracted each time.

Below will be listed the requirements for each member to be promoted to the next class.

§ Peregrini (Recruits)
15 denarii
Acknowledgment of this guide

§ Plebeian (Corporals)
30 denarii

§ Citizens (Sergeants)
45 denarii
Citizens are now eligible to run for elections

§ Equites (Lieutenant)
75 denarii

§ Patricians (Captain)
100 denarii

§ Imperial Patricians (General)
300 denarii

§ Imperial Family (Administrator)

The full list of current Ranks and Denarii can be found on the following google doc:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1II9G8Nucy4DPCRcIG6FPrYDOVYzNb8maihFdB3jMQgc/edit?usp=sharing

Multiple accounts do not apply.

Your most active game (if applicable) RS3 or OSRS will count for denarii. The only cross-game gains are recruiting people, attending official meetings, and capping at the citadel.

Once you are a Citizen, you become eligible to be considered for a promotion to a Senate position. If you are selected to a position and accept, you will be awarded 5 denarii per week as well as the clan chat rank corresponding to that particular position.

If you go inactive without letting us know prior, or simply do not do the job you were selected to do, you *will* be swiftly relieved of your Senatorial duties and a replacement will be found.

Event Rewards and your Rank in Rome

A major element when it comes to events in TRE are the rewards. All event prizes are taken straight from the bank of TRE which is 100% funded by donations of members.

Additionally, during holidays such as Christmas or milestones such as TRE's birthday, all active members will receive a reward directly from TRE as a gift.

All rewards come directly from TRE's bank, which is located on the "TRE Central" account. The first week of every month is to be known as Donation Week, where members will be heavily encouraged to donate an amount of their choosing to TRE. These donations become TRE revenue, and get spent on each of you each week!

Additionally, donations will result in denarius relative to the amount you donate.

Please note, one may only receive a maximum of 10 Denarii per week from donations. Any additional money donated over a week's span will not reward additional denarii.

Donations of
500k- earn 1 Denarii
1 million+ earns 2 Denarii
5 million+ earns 3 Denarii
10 million+ earns 4 Denarii
15 million+ earns 5 Denarii
20 million+ earns 7 Denarii
25 million+ earns 9 Denarii
30 million+ earns 10 Denarii

So why does TRE utilize this system? Surely you can just promote people on the eye test?

Correct, we could simply promote people on whim - but what fun is that? TRE is a community clan with Rome as it's model. Our goal is to make TRE a game of it's own, with a unique way to experience a clan and with an infrastructure that maintains both cost and reward.

We want our members to immerse themselves in our Roman world and help create an atmosphere that is truly unique and offers something fun.

Guidelines Concerning Clan Chat:

Clanchat is a place where everyone should feel welcome, respect each other

Discussions and disagreements should be kept to the content of the topic, not attacking each other

We generally do not censor chat, however we may use the mute function in the event of: Hacked accounts, antagonistic, racist, or derogatory comments aimed at another member or guest, constant spam

The clan chat mute function is used at the discretion of any senate member who feels the need to defuse a situation

The clan chat mute function may also be used as punishment for grievances that occur outside of the clan chat

If there are any issues, message a ranking admin+ about the issue. This is better than starting a fight in the middle of the clan chat

Guests are welcome but will be removed if they create problems

Guidelines Concerning Discord:

Keep content in its intended channel, NSFW content is limited to the NSFW channel

All rules concerning clan chat mutes are applied in parallel to a discord text mute

Guidelines Concerning Ingame Activities/Events:

Intentionally pking another member is strictly prohibited, either in the wildy or via PVM mechanics

Do not troll another memberís event. If you attend an event, whoever organized it is in charge. If you donít like it, donít go to the event

Guidelines Concerning Meetings:

8:30 EST (00:30 Game Time) Every Tuesday at the Clan Citadel Keep

The Emperor or proxy will go over all issues or topics from the past or upcoming weeks

If you would like to add anything, simply type ď1Ē in public chat and the Emperor or proxy will acknowledge you to speak as soon as the current announcement is concluded

While the Emperor or proxy is addressing the clan, refrain from speaking other than ď1Ē to be called on, as the content is conducted in public chat, so it should stay clear

Guidelines Concerning Ranks:

All ranks over admin will have access to senate discussions

All major decisions and changes must be approved by the Emperor

A major decision is one that deals with more than one position. Scheduling a pvm event like vorago for example does not require approval

Each branch of the senate and imperium can be formed/expanded/collapsed as the clan sees fit

Every position is responsible both for itís given roles, as well as general leadership of the clan

General Guidelines:

Donations awarding Denarii can be made to any Senator

Jagexís rules are our rules. Breaking any of them may lead to removal from the clan
