Greetings.

Welcome to Sovereign Order! We are a fun, friendly and helpful clan with 6 years of history, seeking to provide a group that can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter what total level or combat as there are no current requirements to join.

We're Australian-based and founded but accept all nationalities with open arms. Our core belief is that clans are here to enhance the enjoyment of the game, and so that's what we aim to provide!

We can offer you:

- A friendly, relaxed and tight-knit community to chat to and get help from
- A dedicated and experienced leadership and admin team
- Regular non-mandatory events, ranging from PvM to minigames of all sorts
- Three avatars which are regularly out for increased XP for clanmates
- A quickly growing clan Citadel
- A dedicated Discord server for socialisation, voice-chats and stat checking
- A fair ranking system, entrenched in activity and helpfulness to the clan

And we aim to greatly expand this list as we continue to regrow.

Whether you're looking for a great community to be a part of, or you're already involved and just catching up on some details, we're extremely happy to have you.

Warm Regards,
Texerish, Owner of Sovereign Order

We are a mature clan, and as such the few rules we have simply come down to common sense. To this end, the list of rules is both short and simple. The current rules are:

1. Do not harass or abuse clanmates, whether in the CC or outside of it.*

2. Do not break the official game rules as set out by Jagex, such as scamming, microing or real-world trading.

*Swearing and otherwise crude language/behaviour is not included in this rule. As stated, we are a mature clan, and we do not therefore censor mature speech.

The clan operates with a ranking system that is based first simply on activity, and with further criteria becoming relevant as the ranks increase. Admin roles encompass several mandatory duties which are not imposed on lower ranks, and these will be discussed in the Admin section below.

Recruit-Sergeant:
The chevron ranks (also called the "banana" ranks) require a clan-mate only to participate. Essentially, being friendly, helpful and active in the clan chat. This is to encourage new members to get involved in, and become comfortable with, the community. Even though being active is the only requirement at this stage, engaging in further activities such as capping the clan Citadel, recruiting, and participating in events will speed up progress on ranks.

Lieutenant-General:
The star ranks are in most ways the same as the chevron ranks, in that the primary criteria is activity within the chats. However, in this stage ranks will come significantly slower without also engaging in capping the Citadel, recruiting, and participating in events and being helpful to clan-mates when required. This is due to the star ranks acting as a period of demonstrating whether a clan-mate has the admirable traits of an ideal Admin (more information in the Admin section).

Becoming An Admin:
Once someone is at the rank of General they become a viable choice to be selected for an Admin role. The selection is based overwhelmingly on whether a clan-mate has shown a loyalty to the clan, a passion for helping clan-mates and a drive to help the clan grow and succeed. When a General is selected by the leadership to become an Admin, they will be contacted directly to make sure they understand the mandatory duties that come with an Admin position. If they agree to these duties, the rank will be given to them, but they are free to choose to remain a General instead, until such a time that they decide they would like to take on more responsibilities.

Organiser-Deputy Owner:
Once a clan-mate has become an Admin they are bound to perform several mandatory duties. They must cap at the Citadel each week, as this sets an example to low ranks of aiding the clan as a whole. They must also occasionally host an event, the type of which is usually up to them, but can also optionally be put to a vote within the clan chat. It is common for new Admins to be made host of an event shortly after achieving the rank, in order to gauge their leadership and management skills. Additionally, admins are required to attend the Admin meetings held each week in the Citadel. These meetings will be discussed below. In addition to these duties, it is expected that Admins continue to be active in the chat, and helpful to any newcomers, as well as recruiting when they have the opportunity.

Should an Admin know that they will not be online for an extended period of time, it is required that they inform the leadership either directly or, if this option is unavailable, through other Admins. This will make the absent Admin exempt from performing their duties in that time.

The clan's Admin meetings are the weekly opportunity to present issues and suggest changes. The meetings are significant for both Admins and non-Admins alike. Non-Admins may present issues they have found within the clan, or suggestions they have for possible improvement, to an Admin/s and ask them to present them in the next meeting. In terms of the Admin's role, should a meeting be commencing while an Admin is online, it is required that they attend. Here, they may both present the issues that they have, or which have been brought to them by lower ranks, and also hear the issues which other Admins may bring up.

Every Admin at the meeting may have their opinions on any discussed topics heard, whether this opinion is based on their personal feelings or on those who have entrusted them to present an idea in the meeting. The decisions will be made by the leadership, except on occasions where the leadership calls the matter to a vote. In this way, the existing vision for the clan is kept paramount, but is weighed against the general feelings of the clan, which can elicit change or improvement.

Clan-wide changes which the leadership is considering implementing will also be brought up in these meetings in order to run a trial on the general opinions of the Admin team. These are rarely matters that will be voted on, and instead may be discussed or debated in order to make logical points for or against them. Decisions will then be made based on the conviction of these points.

Examples of topics that may be discussed in an Admin meeting include, but are not limited to:
- Issues between specific clan-mates (aggravation, rule-breaking etc)
- Implementation of new ideas, or adaptions to old ideas (new events, policies etc)
- Introduction of clan-wide changes

Every weekend (AEST time), the clan will have regular, scheduled events. These events will be announced in the Event/Announcement channel of the Discord server, and will be advertised both there and in the in-game clan chat in the days leading up to the events. The events are split in to two categories:

- The Primary Event
- The Secondary Events

The Primary event will feature a prize to the winner/s. This will consist of a cash prize, from the communal clan fund (discussed below)! The event is usually a "special" event, in that it isn't simply a boss mass, or a mini-game, although it may sometimes be the case. Instead, most of the time, it will be a fun activity for the clan to participate in as a community, such as group challenges and puzzling activities. They are a great time, and provide excellent clan bonding experiences.

The Secondary events are the more traditional events, and usually don't have a special prize. These are activities such as bosses, mini-games, Dungeoneering trips or group skilling. The reward of these events (beyond the usual credit towards promotion) is the items or XP you get while performing it. Although, occasionally additional rewards will be offered.

Special events may be scheduled on weekdays, if they are requested, and will fall in to the Secondary event category.

The Clan Fund is a communal fund of money used by the clan to reward clan-mates either for winning events, or for other contributions to the clan. The fund is contributed to through donations by clan-mates, and occasionally by raffles. The amount in the Clan Fund is displayed in a dedicated channel on the Discord, and can be seen by everyone. Additionally, any donations given to the fund are announced in the Clan Fund channel to show appreciation and recognition to the donors.

To donate, simply message the clan leader about donating, and trade them your donation. This donation will be announced in the Discord and the new total amount in the fund will be updated. In this way, the entire clan knows how much has been donated and how much money the clan has at its disposal.

In the case of raffles, tickets can be bought for a small amount (usually between 100-500k), and the winner will get half of all the money raised through ticket sales. The other half will go in to the Clan Fund for use in rewards. As many tickets can be bought as one desires, which increases the chance of winning.

The rewards given from this fund are outlined in the next window.

Rewards will be given from the Clan Fund in two scenarios:

- To the winner of a Primary Event; and
- To clan-mates who accomplish their Citadel cap

The cash prize reward for the Primary Event winner has a minimum of 2m, but this may be increased depending on the current amount in the Clan Fund.

In terms of cash rewards for cappers, the person who gets the prize is random. Towards the end of the week, each person who capped will be assigned a number and a random number generator will select the winner. This cash prize will be between 500k-several mil depending on the amount in the Clan Fund.

Should the Owner or a Deputy Owner win the cash prize for the event, the prize will be added to the next event's prize, making the following event one with an even larger reward up for grabs. The Owner or Deputy Owner will not keep the prize they won.
