Autoheater should proc at cool down point (50%) instead of 0% no one lets the stuff drop to 0% feels like a pointless item.

You haven't tried to smith high elder rune upgrades, elder rune burial items and/or masterwork yet I guess?

The mechanics are still the same. Letting the items drop that far in cooling is very inefficient and makes the Auto-heater a very pointless afk item. I would say at minimum proc at 25% but no one should ever let the cooling drop that low.

I still say it should proc at 40-50% and charge to about 75-85%.

You know your rates bascially take any reason to actively smith - except for ultra weird techniques like superheating the item with a skillcape equipped after every swing you do?

Also I guess you highly underestimate how many players like to afk as long as their xp are reasonable. You are losing less than a third of your potential xp (since reheating takes time granting no progress at all, which is cut by the auto heater as well), have slightly increased upkeep costs (since coal isn't really expensive in the first place), but are granted the ability to stay afk for a much longer time with still reasonable xp rates. Of course attention is rewarded, but afking is still viable enough anyway. If you don't like to afk it's really not the item for you - easy as that.
