Gauging player sentiment is nice but the core change of the game should be decided by Jagex. RS3 aims to be a modern game to attract new players. Ppl stuck in nostalgia are on old school RS. Furthermore the drop tables should be reworked before the launch on Mobile so new players are not introduced to 15 year old mess and the life of the newly hired developers is easier and maybe less will be broken when future updates come.

Can't get new results doing the same old same old.

Currently PVM makes money because they sell resources to skillers and weapons are expensive because with said weapons you can obtain resources to sell to skillers. Some sort of rebalancing is sorely needed in order for new players to not be left with bad aftertaste of things so outrageously out of reach. If your goal was to sell bonds and xp - nailed it but it doesn't seem to work for attracting new players.

Furthermore the current projects under consideration like ice dye and clue scroll rework do no address any unfinished business and will not impact that many players ("lets do some clues because skilling is broken" is not a great way to go to make gameplay more varied); a new quest provides 4-5hrs of game play for months of work. This direction of development would be fine if everything else was balanced already but it is 2017 and things are still unballanced M&S is the ultimate unfinished business atm.

Imagine if the EU Referendum required 75% to pass.
Imagine if a government needs 75% of the vote to form a majority.

Yes, because Jagex should be aiming to replicate the EU referendum, a vote that has tore the country apart, increased separatist movements and resulting in a weak leader taking the UK out of the EU upsetting half the country whilst failing to deliver the asinine promises made to the other half resulting in no one being happy.

That is *clearly* the goal Jagex should be getting for future updates.........

Think what you like. It is undemocratic to ignore a Majority vote in any situation. To do something with a minority vote doesn't make sense in the slightest.

electoral college = developers and ppl aware of Jagex finances decide the outcome; player motivations will be revealed by the poll (including the lvl of ignorance/selfishness on the issue)
anyway results are never guaranteed irl and RS i better that is why we play
