Quests are Rs
Done them all multiple times and still love most
just got q cape this acc 115combat which I was pleased with
Would love a reward shop , and hopefully there will more rewards than than you can currently have points for
Leaving room to pick and choose the best rewards for you
lodes and other new stuff have ruined some quest rewards EG:canifis portal at poh
so would like some unique and useful ones to replace those sort of rewards

on quests themselves, nice job on reworking some early quests but more work needed

fav quest/ one piercing note
fav series/ myreque
fav reward/ sunspear/upgraded pirate book
hardest quest/ prob the last silskie quest on here as only had sunspear and t70 gear
worst quests- gower quest-pieces of hate

Pls include in some way miniquests and city quests. Something funny if a player has completed all mini quests and city quests like the ability to have an extra quest point displayed. 200 city quests equals half the existing quest points after all.

Apparently a weapon is planned that makes boss fights easier.

Just a heads up: please make sure that it doesn't devalue
ascendancy mines
, since those are tricky to get. And I assume there'll be a cap to the effectiveness of the weapon, since some bosses are just hard by design and should not become trivial.
Bizarre Boron Fusswell. Minigames&ninja fixes&cheevos&comp cape

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

Welcome, Mod Kylar! (:

I hope I'm not too late.

Answering your questions,
I like playing quests for lore, rewards and to unlock content/new areas.
I dislike to grind for repetitive things or to face difficult bosses.

About rewards, Idk if other players already said it, but I saw two pets on a recent stream, and it seems the more basic pet wouldn't be included. Please, could you reconsider? It's so cute! ^_^ Also, I want the following title to be added to the shop:
the Adventurer
(the same color as 'of the Alliance'; or
blue
; alternatively,
the Supreme Adventurer
?). That's all for now.

About myself, I'm a quester and skiller (and I suck at PVM).
I have 389 quest points, I play since 2008, and I have 138 combat level and 2601 total level.

It seems the majority of respondents on this thread don't like hard bosses in quests, I'm not as alone as I thought I was in not liking them. Hi.

Not too late, I'm keeping an eye on the forums, reddit and discord every day that I'm working on this project. It's great to see the enthusiasm and ideas that you guys have, they're really helping to direct the course of this update. :)

- What are the top things (up to three) that make you want to do a quest?

Story, A change of pace(from grinding, etc), Rewards

- What are the top things (up to three) that discourage you from completing a quest?

Extreme difficulty, losing a large amount of money/time due to deaths or preparation, extremely high requirements(especially when it comes to main story quests)

- What sort of rewards would you like from the Quest Point Shop?

Cosmetics, for starters. Also, how about an item that can negate one skill requirement? Limit one per quest, and of course, consumable. Some quest-related perks to unlock would be nice, as well. Boosted damage and/or defense against quest bosses(like maybe 10% at most, nothing crazy), a puzzle helper of sorts(ex. would give hints if you click on it, limited number per quest, but can be useful)

- One of the things we've been discussing in the studio is whether or not someone with max Quest Points should be able to unlock everything on release? Alternatively, should they have to decide which rewards they value the most, and only be able to unlock further rewards as more quests are released. I'd love to hear how you feel about this, and get a bit of a dialogue going.

The alternative you have mentioned is fine. Give Quest Capers enough freebies to play with, though.

- What type of player are you? (PvM, PvP, Quester, Skiller, Completionist, Social) (You can choose more than one)

Casual Quester/Skiller, planning retirement

- What is your current number of quest points?

399! c:

- How long have you been playing RuneScape?

On this account? Playtime-wise, 141 days, 16 hours+ on this account. As for when I started playing, almost 12 and a half years ago on this account (early 2006), a bit over 14 years ago on my former main (mid 2004)

- What are your combat level and skill total?

126/138 combat level, 2606 total
Why RS Mobile is a stupid idea

Top 3 things that make you want to do a quest:
A new fun adventure, Story, to get my Quest Cape back

Things that discourage:
RNG Agility obstacles; though not as prevalent as they once were, it was infuriating to keep failing an obstacle and then pushed back to the beginning of the dungeon. Jmod's always express disbelief when a poll reveals players don't like Underground Pass, of course it was packed with interesting puzzles and good story, but if you only just had the agility req for it, falling into that chasm over and over was a huge pain.

Fight's that produce a lot of lag; While not a problem for me recently since I got a better laptop, prior to this, fights like the Nomads Elegy protect the Cave Goblins bit and the Sliskes Endgame final bossfight are extremely frustrating and difficult with a laggy computer.

Annoying Requirements; This only applies to the recent desert quests, having a quest locked behind 47 hours of non stop fishing wasn't fun, especially with how short the quest was.

What sort of rewards would you like:
Stuff to make it easier to gain MQC requirements, such as a device that makes lore drops more likely (Like Tarddian Journals etc) or stuff to more tedious tasks easier (Improved Obsidian Shard drop rate for Lost Gaal miniquest or doubling the amount of silver pennies gained from beating DoD). Cosmetics are always nice too, maybe something like the Wise Old Mans outfit.

Should everything be unlocked on release:
Yes if the current Quest creation rate stays the same

Type of Player:
136Cb, ~2550 Total, Quester & Rper, been playing almost 11 years.

Questing Achievements:
Beat WGS at 85 Cb, got Helm of Trials at 88 Cb, gained Quest Cape in 2011 with 91 Cb. Trying for MQC so I've improved a lot since then.
W42 - Asgarnian Admin, 6 year Loyal Kinshra and Pie Connoisseur.
Nothing interesting happened.

- What are the top things (up to three) that make you want to do a quest?

rewards, story

Having must haves was nice, ancient spells / curses.
niche items with stats

for an ability based game, not alot exist.... quests / points could be a nice place.

- What are the top things (up to three) that discourage you from completing a quest?

excessive combat for the sake of combat / unsafe combat
forcing players into the wilderness.
annoying puzzle mechanics.

- What sort of rewards would you like from the Quest Point Shop?

i am not sure.
clue scrolls? (worthwhile) cosmetics
i personally don't think xp, skilling materials should be there.....though access to skilling / combat areas might be nice.

- One of the things we've been discussing in the studio is whether or not someone with max Quest Points should be able to unlock everything on release? Alternatively, should they have to decide which rewards they value the most, and only be able to unlock further rewards as more quests are released. I don't think players who have completed [all] quests should be "punished" by having to limit what the can claim or some other arbitrary time gate.

- What type of player are you? (PvM, PvP, Quester, Skiller, Completionist, Social) (You can choose more than one)

skiller...

- What is your current number of quest points?

357

- How long have you been playing RuneScape?

Since 2002ish

- What are your combat level and skill total?

max combat, 2805 skilling total (invention, slayer not 120)
