Thought it'd be nice to post on the forums too.

Cos ya know, it's nice to stay informed.

Yes, it is already interesting that Mod Osborne revealed the 7 small development teams with the last 2 being for Promotions and Events.

And he also said the size of their project team is not just 1 person. It is usually 3 developers with 2 QA people. So much for the lack of Jmods in development. :D:D:D

3 people in each team yet nothing is getting properly done. 22 mods on OSRS create better content then 75 (or 53) for RS3. We will be lucky to get RS mobile by the end of the year. An update which I personally will not play because....wait for it.....I play on my computer.

Most Jmods are on the shared resource pool, particularly the system developers and infrastructure people. System and Engine people are the ones heavily involved in Mobile.

The chance is if there are any serious issues delaying the rollout of Mobile, they will be on both RS3 and OSRS. ;)

It is already extremely interesting as all the "skeleton crew" nonsense and negativity on Jmods have gone missing since then over in Reddit.

It is extremely thankful that Jmod did not take the Runefest excuse to dodge/cancel their transparency push regarding Runescape projects until after Runefest. :)

shame he didn't post this on the forum as well

Well that probably has at least something to do with the behaviors of the RSOF users.

Who would like to come here and receive comments like "I want you to be fired", "don't do what I tell you to and you will be like the fired GW2 writer"?

Reddit users don't do crap like that to Jmods and their own fellow users. But I still see plenty of these nonsense in RSOF. In fact, I even saw Jmod kicking some whiners out of the forums for threatening them.

An interesting point that illustrated that is Mod Obsborne provided comprehensive and candid information on the Jagex work force and projects but the one that he deflected to another group was RunePass. Interestingly he was accused of lying about the "removal" of TH that he definitely 100% did not mean anywhere. If I were in his shoe, I would be only inclined to talk more to the users who love, or at least impartial to, me too. :D:D:D

So, I think the Jmods will be happier to come to the RSOF if the users are friendlier or at least more fair. :)
