Hi,

I am going to push for 120 invention as soon as I've celebrated 99, which I will be getting tomorrow or maybe later tonight.

I am going to camp abby demons.

For this push I wanna make sure that I am well prepared item-wise. Thing is, I've been inactive for a long time and a lot has changed in RS.

What's my best option here?

Current wield:

Weapon: Nox Scythe, Precise 5 and Aftershock perks (Please inspire me if there are better options here)

Helmet: Torva
Plate: Torva, enlightened for xp boost, (Not sure about 2nd perk)
Legs: Torva, enlightened for xp boost, (Not sure about 2nd perk)
Gloves: Razorback Gauntlets
Boots: Steadfast (I know there have been some alternatives here, but what?)
Cape: Kiln melee

Amulet: Amulet of Souls
Ring: Ring of dwarves

What's my best in slot options? This is a 1-2 year old build.

I really prefer non-degradable items but I'm open to any suggestion.

I have approx 500m for this project.

Thanks!

just do what you normally do, don' put useless perks on your armor, just use it for slayer and bossing and eventually you will reach invention 120

best armor perks are Biting 2-3, impatient 3, enhanced devoted 3 and crackling 3

your weapon is totally fine

as for your boots.. please get torva boots.. don't bother using tank boots

Only things to consider changing...boots like the other dude said. P3e2 or p4e2 (tbh, probably not worth it, p4e2 can cost hundreds of millions, p3e2 is barely better than p5), and cinderbane gloves (poison target) Idk what to put here

Invention is the easiest skill in game, just take your time with it.

Cinderbane gloves will do you better, they are cheaply repairable and do lots of poison damage.

You could keep siphoning your gear or disassemble lower level weapons at level 10 which is faster but slightly more expensive. I think Crystal Halberd is a good option if you are doing something which halberd range is beneficial at. There are alternative options for range/mage if you're interested.

For your perks, you want Biting 2 or 3 for sure. Since you're killing Abyssal demons you should make a Demon Slayer perk too.
You'll get it when you deserve it.
