So I thought a cool thing new quest would be one featuring most of the Random Events.

The Quest will function similar to Recipe for Disaster, it will be separated into 9 parts.

This Quest will be following the R.E.e, (Random Eventse with a silent e), as they try to put a end to the R.E., (Really Evil).

The Following Good Events in the R.E.e will be:

The Mime

The Frog Prince and Princess

The Mysterious Old Man

The Certers

, (Giles, Miles and Niles)

Captain Arnav

The Freaky Forester

The Pillory and the Good Twin

Prison Pete

The Following Bad Events in the R.E. will be:
The Rock Golem and The River Troll, (will be paired with the Mime's quest).
Evil Bob, (will be paired with the Frog Prince and Princess' quest).
The Evil Chicken, (will be paired with The Mysterious Old Man's quest).
The Zombie, Shade, and Tree Spirit, (will be paired with the Certers' quest).
The Big Fish, (will be paired with Captain Arnav's quest).
The Ent, (will be paired with the Freaky Forester's quest).
The Bad Twin, (will be paired with The Pillory guard's quest).
The Genie, (Paired with Prison Pete's quest).
Sandwich Lady being the Final Boss. The job's never done, there's always a way to improve or protect.

(I know the 200th quest is coming up so this might be something to consider, unless you already have something planned.)

(Also this might contain Spoilers so be careful...)

Quest Name: A Series of Random Events
(A reference to the book A Series of Unfortunate Events).

The Mime's Quest

It should be noted this portion must be completed before any other part of the quest can be started.

The Quest will start with the Mime looking concerned. After a humorous act of the player trying to guess what's wrong the Mime finally gives in and takes the player to the issue. From there the quest starts, (well at least 1/9 of the quest starts). The player is taken to what appears to be a Fairy Ring made of stone mushrooms and water rings in between, (this ring is later revealed to be in the Dwarvern mine, in case the player chooses to re visit the area after this portion of the quest). After stepping into the ring you accidentally get thrown into the Lost and Found Random Event, (see I knew I'd find room to sneak in some other events). After pulling the correct lever you'd be teleported to what appears to be the Enchanted Vally but in a different part of it, a more destroyed part of it. The Mime then waves at the player, as the player walks toward the Mime the player realizes that something seems off about the near by rocks, they had suddenly moved. The water as well seems to have ripples despite the lack of wind. Cautiously the player catches up with Mime to meet it at a trap door leading into a secret base. A few other events are in there such as the Good Random events as listed earlier. The player then ask how they are here and The Mysterious Old Man says the people you see outside of this hidden base are simply their magical body doubles. After a brief explanation why you've been summoned you find out that the reason why you haven't really seen them is because they, at one time, had the Bad Events, (con't). (con't). ...under control until recently they have found a way to gather together to form a evil alliance. It is your job to find these evil creatures and put a end to them once and for all! They call themselves the R.E., the player then ask what it stood for to later be told Really Evil, from which the player replies, "Oh I thought it stood for Random Event". Everyone laughs, (the Mime acts it out), to which Prison Pete states the "That's what we're called, R.E.e., it's spelled with a silent e to avoid confusion". Shortly after the Rock Golem and the River Troll bust in with a shadowy figure and make a attempt to kill off the R.E.e, however before the battle the figure swiftly takes the Mime as a hostage and teleports away. The River Troll and the Rock Golem appeared to have been trained as well as given some protective armor so some of the other events help you fight, expect for the Prince who was struck by fright. After the fight a small fragment comes off the Rock Golem, shortly after it stands up to later mistaken the player as a parental figure. The Frog Princess decides to call it Geo but will happily help the player change it's name. Everyone but the Mime is safe...for now. The Mime's Portion of the quest is complete!

Requirements:
None but you must be able to fight 2 hostile mobs that adjust to your level, however you will have backup.

Rewards, (yes we have waited for this moment!)

-A small Rock Golem pet who eats any ore, (great to bring on mining trips).
-Access to the R.E.e's base
-Access to a small shop run by the Drunken Dwarf which expands with every portion of the quest's completion.
-Access to skill gloves 1 in the shop, which give bonus XP to Slayer, and Mining when worn.
-Some amount of XP in a Xp lamp.
-2 Keys for Treasure Hunter and 2 Hearts of Ice The job's never done, there's always a way to improve or protect.

The Frog Prince and Princess' Quest

Jumping to Conclusions

After recent "Random" events the R.E.e is left puzzled by who could of done such a thing and of all people why take Mime, the one who can't even say a word about our plans? Captain Arnav then states "Maybe because he "Silent" but deadly!", from which everyone gives a quick glare. After wards the Frog Prince takes notice that a small cat was resting on the lap of the Frog Princess. She states she just found it walking around so she picked it up and brought it here. All of a sudden Evil Bob appears kidnapping the Princess, however while all of this is going on the Princess' crown falls on the cat and Evil Dave mistakenly assumes that the cat is the long lost Cat Princess "Cleo Catra" and "rescues" her from the humans. Worried the Frog Prince ask you to help him reclaim his love. The player then suggest that he comes along, however the Prince says he's "allergic" to teleporting across dimensions, the player then mumbles "As well being brave.", (a reference to the Prince's actions during the battle of the first quest). The Mysterious Old man however knows of a way to get the player to the dimension. Apparently Evil Bob uses the lost magic of Fishery to get from one dimension to another. In order to cast this spell however you'd need find Bob the cat and bring him here along with a sardine wrapped in a Doogle leaf. (An easy way to find Bob would be using the Cat Speak
amulet (a).) If your wearing the cat speak amulet you'll get to talk to bob about what's happening from which he simply says, "I'll do it for a 1 Bob snack.". (A reference to Scooby snacks this is why the player had to bring the Doogle Leaf wrapped around a sardine.) Bob then decides to meet you at the Fairy Ring from which you both teleport to the R.E.e base. (cont.)... The job's never done, there's always a way to improve or protect.

(cont.) ... Once at the R.E.e. base the Mysterious Old Man murmurs a odd spell which puts Bob to sleep. If the player has already done Dream Mentor they will ask why don't they need a Dream Potion? The Mysterious Old Man will respond saying "Since you're crossing dimensions and not entering a dream the potion is not needed, this is also how Evil Bob gets to our realm. Why do you think he's always asleep when he abducts you?". Once in the realm you will see it's not a little island anymore but a small village of cats. Once there a cat guard attempts to shoot the player with a sleep dart only to barely miss. Bob quickly attacks the guards using Ice Barrage, which then surprises the player. It's obvious that walking around here would be foolish... for a human. Bob recalls that you were able to turn into a monkey with a special talisman, from which the player confirms true. Bob has a idea that involves making a talisman similar to it. Seeing as Bob killed the guard he takes a tooth, the guard's collar, and ask the player to crate the Kitty Greegree (basically a special cat collar). Once made Bob will enchant it and the player will be able to turn into a cat so long they're in this realm, (which by the way will act similar to the Sliske's Citadel which allowed players to meet after the quest). Once a cat you will sneak into the prison getting away with it since you have a guard's collar on. (After the quest the player can knock out other cats and make Kitty Greegrees for them as well.) You will find the Princess and try to convince her that your you. At first she doesn't believe you until you tell here that you know the Prince. She will then ask you a few questions all relating to the Prince.
1. Is he a Charming man.
1a. Yes.
2. Is he a brave person.
2a. No, he makes chickens seem like brave worriers.
After this she believes you and follows you out. When asked what's going on you simpily reply to the other guards that she is going to a "special pl The job's never done, there's always a way to improve or protect.

(Cont.)... After you escort her to the portal you find the Cleo Catra had innocently followed you back to the portal, unfortunately that also meant Evil Bob wasn't too far behind. Luckily Bob cast a unknown spell which froze Evil Bob in his tracks, despite frozen he can still talk. The player then ask who hired you to Evil Bob who then confesses that he was working with the R.E. Right when he was going to "rat" out the leader the shadowy figure appeared and quickly knocked out Evil Bob only for R.E. to deal with him later. However because he was frozen that meant that the portal would too stay open, allowing the player to return when ever they please. As soon as you get back the Prince, after sobbing like a big baby, see his love and they quickly reunite, before they kiss however the both turn into frogs, from which then they turn back into human. The Mysterious Old Man then asked what happened and the player tells them everything. Cleo Catra seems to have taken a liking to the Frog Princess so she keeps her in the end.

-Gertrude's Cat

Rewards:

-Ability to Make Kitty Greegrees
-Access to the Cat Realm Village for your RPing needs
-(Assuming this is the 2nd part you do) Access to Skill gloves 2 which give bonus XP in Crafting and Thieving when worn.
-2 keys for Treasure Hunter and 2 Hearts of Ice. The job's never done, there's always a way to improve or protect.

The Mysterious Old Man's Quest

The Bad Egg

After the Random events that took place R.E.e has been more secure about what is allowed and who is allowed to come in. After losing one of their members to the R.E., and nearly losing another one, they couldn't risk anyone else being taken. To take some extra precaution the Mysterious Old Man tells the player to go fetch a Egg from the Evil Chicken's Alter at Zaniris. Before you can get in however you'll need to by pass a special entrance to the Evil Chicken's Coop, this entrance is heavily guarded by the Pixies, The Evil Chicken lays 1 egg every 1,000 years in The Evil Coop. This egg is to be the next Evil Chicken but if R.E.e is to get hold of it then it would be influenced and become The Good Chicken. In order to enter the The Evil Coop the player must bypass the Pixies. The player then ask, "Don't you mean fairies?", but the Mysterious Old Man corrects the player saying that Pixies are actually a more violent race of fairies, how do you think Slayer Master Chaeldar got her taste for blood? However the only issue is Pixies treat the Evil Chicken as a God so they will be totally against the player taking this special egg. The Mysterious Old Man will recommend you talking to Chaeldar about the Pixies since she has lots experience with them. After making your way to Zaniris and talking to Chaeldar she will tell you not to mention anything about the egg as they will be aggressive to any outsiders who are looking for their God's child. However the Pixies, with their violent nature, aren't as wise which is a main reason why Chaelder eventually returned to Zaniris. She will happily teleport you to The Evil Coop. She will also tell you to mention her name after you get the egg. As soon as your in the base remember the patrolling patterns of the Pixie Guards as if your caught you will be thrown in a cell and forced to break out as well as lose the egg if you had it before. (Cont.)... Right before you leave however the Evil Chicken stops you and says your getting in the way of the R.E.! Soon after he attacks the player as well as summons 3 pixie guards to fight, don't worry as they'll be simple to take out. As soon as The Evil Chicken is almost dead, (1hp), The shadowy figure will once again appear and come to the chicken's rescue, but before the figure leaves the Evil Chicken ask who sent you, from there your character yell "Chaeldar sent me!", which then The Evil Chicken yells "Nooooo!" as it teleports away with the shadow. You return to the Mysterious Old Man with the soon to be Good Egg and he thanks you for your brave efforts.
Mysterious Old Man's Quest Complete
(if one is to go back to Zaniris and talk to Chaeldar about her relation with the Evil Chicken she would say they used to be friend before it stabbed her in back.)

Requirements:
Completion of The Lost City
35 Slayer

Rewards:

-2 Xp Lamps containing 10000 Xp for any skill of choice above level 50.
-(Assuming this is the third part your do) Access to Skill Gloves 3 which give Bonus Xp for Hunter and Divination when worn.
-A new slayer mob, Pixies which will require 35 slayer and are only assigned by Chaeldar.
- Pixies can drop Pixie Dust which can help a player recover from failing an agility obstacle (perfect for Mourning's End Part II *wink* *wink*)
-2 Keys for Treasure Hunter and 2 Hearts of Ice The job's never done, there's always a way to improve or protect.

The Certers' Quest

Certing Thing Out

(This one is probably the shortest and easiest of the 9 quest)
Giles, Miles and Niles have been on guard for some time now and they all have noticed something odd going on near the R.E.e's base. The feel something is off about the Enchanted Vally; they want you to check out what's going on outside. Giles states that he heard a odd deep sound near the woods, Miles says he thought he saw a green being run past reeds near the pond, and Niles says he saw a green shadow in the distance as if it were watching them.
Once the player investigates the woods you find footsteps leading towards another trail of footsteps near the pond. Afterwards you will find out that three spies have invaded the Enchanted Vally, each of which have overheard the Certers talking about private information. However it's too late to warn anyone now as the spies are a aware of you knowing their existence. You have no choice but to fight the Shade, Zombe, and
Tree Spirit. After all three have been killed you report back to the Certers and tell them what has happened, afterwards they will thank you and ask not to tell the Mysterious Old Man about this as they weren't supposed to mention anything about the base or it's plans outside and they could all be in big trouble.
The Certers' Quest Complete

Requirements:
None but you must be able to fight off 3 hostile mobs by yourself, their levels adjust to your level.

Rewards:

-15k coin, 5k per Certer as a thank you.
-Ability to refight the three boss mobs once a week for Magic,(Shade),Strength, Attack, and Defense, (Zombie), and Range XP, (Tree Spirit).
-(Assuming this is the 4th quest completed) Access to Skill Gloves 4 which give bonus XP in Rune Crafting and Fletching.
-2 Keys for Treasure Hunter and 2 Hearts of Ice The job's never done, there's always a way to improve or protect.

Captain Arnav's Quest

That Sinking Feeling

Captain Arnav has discovered a way that the R.E. has been sneaking into the Enchanted Vally without getting detected. It turns out the pond outside is home to The Big Fish, the player then replies saying "He still owes me lot of money for breaking my fishing equipment!". Captain Arnav will then tell the player it's their lucky day as he want you to slay the fish once and for all, however unless you can breath under and be able navigate a whirlpool, (there's another old event), then you can forget about vengeance as well as clogging up the secret entrance. (If the player's account was made after the removal of the random events then the player would instead say, "My best friend told tales of this fish stealing his stuff and if I got the chance to avenge him then to do it!"

. So after you have put on your diving apparels and jump into the whirlpool you end up in a underwater tunnel. After you go towards the other side of the tunnel you will find The Big Fish. Once you fight the fish just when it's about to die a Mogre will appear and say "Stop you hurt Best Friend!&quot. You will learn that The Big Fish is actually a pet and the reason why she stole the player's equipment was she was just trying to protect her owner who had suffered from a serious accident that involved a fishing rod. The player then spares the Big Fish and the Mogre clogs the tunnel with a big Boulder. The Moger says if you ever see his friend when fishing just feed her some raw fish and she will help you catch some fish for a while, (basically The Big Fish will provide the player with a 5 minute invisible fishing boost if the player feeds it at least 5 raw fish from their inventory while they are fishing). The player will then return to the R.E.e and tell Captain of the big misunderstanding and that The Big Fish was never a intentional threat, the R.E. simply made a route through it's home but things are taken care of The job's never done, there's always a way to improve or protect.
