Reign of Chaos - Forinthry - Varmarck Battalion
Far to the North, over ranges, over rivers, beyond woodlands and wastelands, lies a collection of obsidian peaks. Ravens could be seen flying to and from the mountainous arrays, as with many similar arenas across Forinthry. With the rise of Bane's Lordly demesne, so too was there a rise in activity. Basalt slabs and granite walls were raised to fill the gaps and defensive structures had been made from the provisions of nature. A hard people had awoken from their slumber, and the Kingdom of Zamorak had been witnessed. To the fore of this realisation lay Varmarck, the defensive belt of fortifications against southern incursion. At the head of this mission was Lord Dorrance, Warmaster of Forinthry.
A slight man, with grayed hair and steel blue eyes, Dorrance resembled a former, certain Colonel of the Kinshra. He even had the mohawk to boot, and the same grizzled goatee. It was plausible, at least, that this man was Delrith, the Kinshra commander who had led the sacking of Port Sarim against the provisions for the Invasion of Falador laid down by Lord Daquarius. It would seem sensible that he had sought employment elsewhere thereafter. In Forinthry he would form a defence of Zamorak's realm, and expand the influence of his Lord.
The light of the true faith was his philosophy, that only through struggle and conflict could the true potential of man be reached. After all, there was strength to be found in chaos. In his position as Warmaster, and with the declaration and intent of war to be made against Forinthry by Varrock, Lord Dorrance had resolved to found a terribly ironic thing - a well organised militia for the spreading of his anarchic faith.
In that moment, the Varmarck Battalion was formed - to be renamed something far more sinister when Dorrance thinks of a good nickname. Allahu Akbar
