In the last few weeks, placards appeared across the major human cities and settlements on church doors, public notice boards, in pubs and more boldly send as letters to various monarchs, should they choose to read them.

A Treatise on the Freedom of Belief

By Nathaniel Mayer.

When the Heavenly Father, Saradomin (Blessed be his name), said, “The darkness in life may be avoided by the light of wisdom shining”, he willed for all his followers to live a life of reflection and enlightenment. It is with great tragedy and treachery that His Teachings are distorted for the cause of Sin, weaved with great intricacy by the Adversary, Zamorak (Cursed be his name).

1. The Divine Right of Kings, a heavenly mandate sanctioning mortals absolute power is nothing more than trickery. This vengeful doctrine pollutes His Truths and betrays His Will in the pursuit of pettiness and ignorance. The absolutism of the Lord demands humility and modesty in all his subjects, in efforts to bring them into his glowing embrace in New Domina, where all who believe in the Faith spend eternity in comfort and merriment.
The test of mortality, a sombre existence violated by the afflictions of desire and suffering, is inevitably finite, concluding with the fate of the mortal soul; to spend eternity with the Lord in bliss, or without the Lord in terror. It is not the legacy of mortal kings which bask in the hearts of the minds of the Faithful, but the endless grace of Saradomin (Blessed be his name), giving them, the majority, mandate to govern and to choose who governs. It is those who are noble in deeds, not noble in name, who are granted entrance into New Domina.

2. The Crown and the Church, the two pillars of mankind which crumble and quake under the magnificence and the radiance of the Heavenly Father. If we, mortal men, look upon these pillars, what would see? Sin and decadence. The Church is no hierarchy, no elitist episcopalism, but a community. This community was built by and only the Faithful, honouring the Lord in the acts of love and friendship, enshrined in His Teachings. It is written: “Protect yourself, protect your friends. Mine is the glory that never ends”. This is Saradomin’s wisdom, available to one and all in efforts to spend eternity in New Domina.
As we declare our faith in the Lord, we swear to a covenant greater than ourselves, to uphold his teachings and do good for others. With this covenant, forms the Church, a congregation uniting communities in the name of Saradomin (Blessed be his name). None of the faithful require the indulgence of a bishop to achieve redemption, only the teachings of the Heavenly Father, for every man is his own priest, as Saradomin (Blessed be his name) wills it.
In recent times, the Crown has assumed itself to be the head of the Lord’s Church, a foul usurpation of Saradomin (Blessed be his name) and of His Faithful. It is this great blasphemy that plagues society, the teachings of the Heavenly Father are once again polluted in efforts of absolute allegiance to the Crown. This allegiance of mind and body denies the sacred liberty granted by Saradomin (Blessed be his name) forever condemning the soul to Infernus, eternal damnation for the sinful and the blind. It is written that “A fight begun, when the cause is just, will prevail above all others”. This is Saradomin’s wisdom, ensuring justice against those who usurp His name and deceive His faithful. It is those who embrace His teachings who shall find bliss, rather than those who seek to conquer them.

Camilla went to her Sisters, Daughters of Saradomin in Rimmington, to ensure their care was met. It was there at their abbey, she noticed the placard.

"Saradomin's beard... What have I done?"
