Isn't it a bit more important news that Refer A Friend only costs $1.98 now? Earning us 5 full weeks of 110% XP for only $10?
Or how about the fact on top of the 75% off the cost of new membership for first month on new accounts, we also earn 12 SoF spins, 2x XP to 30 everything first 7 days, free membership first 14 days, and also 2000 Loyalty Points on every new account we pay $1.98 on?

@Lead Wolf,
Audio is definitely one of the things we're going to fix for the next live stream. This was our first attempt at a live stream but we learned a lot (Seriously, a lot :P) in that session and we'll certainly be making some improvements for next time!

Jagex should get a TwitchTv like me. Then we would know where to go by name alone. We could all check in at /Runescape or /Jagex each day for livestreams if any going on.
Are they trying to host it on YouTube. :P What sillies!

"All that should counts is they made it happen :) and that is a good job. Again most people was using different Mics and some people don't have the Budget like everyone else to buy what ever they like. So some of the Audio was being stream from the Skype Setting and most people don't Bother fixing their Mic Skype settings."
I think it was a nice 1st stream but that's not all that should count. Whilst I agree that we should appreciate that this was finally pulled off and that it was the first ever RS official livestream (and I do btw :p ), I don't think that simply being happy because 'they made it happen' should be the only response that players give in this thread.
Jagex want our feedback, so rather than keeping everything positive and creating a false image, a balanced view should be given imo. After all, anyone that does not report any problems with the livestream is basically saying that it's fine to go ahead and make future livestreams the same as last night's, so I don't think that the fact that it was pulled off is 'all that should count' in our feedback.
I see that Crow says they learned a lot from how the audio was, which is good to hear :) These are the reasons we post. Imo, any player that posts all positive comments and does not keep their post balanced is simply missing the purpose of this thread: to provide honest feedback and discuss the livestream. If they really had no problems, then fair enough, but I think a large number of players experienced the same audio problems as I did. It's good to know that this is now being looked into for future Q&As :) That way, Q&As such as MMG's and Dan's could potentially be better in tech quality compared to the first livestream.
All in all, I still think the first livestream was ok. I think that without Omar's chat, I would have got bored, but that's just me. Probably because of the type of livestream it was, not the people :P

"It is how the Audio feed is being Captured and also recorded so It has more to do with the Virtual Cables Set up also how they was capturing the speakers instead of the live feed So "what you hear" instead of everyone else Speakers. This is why you heard so much of the "Skype" Sound which is why they switched it to the Speakers and once they made that switch audio kinda went a little bad."
Yeah I guess that makes sense :p Thanks for the info Die :) Seems like it'll be improved for the next livestreams, which is good to hear :)
