ADJUST BLAST MINE:
Gain XP for ores mined upon depositing them into the ore sack. I like to see the progress I'm making as I go along instead of receiving it all at once; this alteration would make the minigame function more like Motherlode Mine does. Having the XP added upon depositing maintains the urgency of retrieving your blasted ores, so there's no impact there. Overall I love how this minigame functions and would just like to see the results of my labors more regularly.

-
EXPAND MOTHERLODE MINE AND MINING GUILD:
I would like to see more interaction between the two sections of the game. One way this could be accomplished is by making the currencies received at each able to be spent in some way in the other section. For example, Belona's Unidentified Minerals are essentially useless once you have the Expert Mining Gloves (more to come on these), so why not add some items to Prospector Percy's shop only purchasable with Unidentified Minerals and items to Belona's shop only purchasable with Golden Nuggets? This would incentivize players to utilize both sections of the game whereas the Mining Guild itself is close to useless once the Expert Mining Gloves have been acquired.

-
BUFF EXPERT MINING GLOVES
The entire mining glove series is close to useless in the current state of mining. My suggestion is to have them play a larger role in mining as a whole by having them provide an extra bonus when worn with the Prospector's Outfit, such as an additional +2.5%-5% XP boost or something along those lines.

-
BUFF PROSPECTOR'S OUTFIT:
The current XP boost from the Prospector Outfit is negligible. Most reports from people who have done the math (not myself) show that the outfit only really saves about 300-400k worth of XP on the road to 99 mining -- that's very little in the big picture.

ADD DRAGON METAL LUMPS TO THE GEM DROP TABLE WHILE MINING:
This one may be a rather ambitious and unpopular opinion, but I think there are some good reasons to do this. I do not suggest that the Dragon Metal Lump be received as commonly as Diamonds or other standard gems are, but only as an especially rare drop with high-level restrictions before it is even a possibility and would not, of course, be subject to the Amulet of Glory effect. I suggest that it only be a possible drop for players with 90+ mining and potentially some other balancing restrictions. My thought process is this: Smithing and Mining are supposed to be complementary skills with the ores gained from Mining used in the items created through Smithing, but this complementary nature stops at Runite since Mining can do nothing to aid in Smithing's ability to create Dragon equipment. Currently the Dragon Metal Lump and Dragon Metal Slice are only available as drops from Rune and Adamant dragons, respectively. It only seems to make sense to me that the Lump -- being the most pure form of the material -- would be obtainable in some fashion through Mining.

-
MINING SKILL CAPE:
I think it's a little silly that the cape's effect only extends up to Adamantite. I think the effect should impact all mined resources. Skill Capes are supposed to represent a player's absolute mastery over that skill and provide them with a reward for exceptional dedication to its practice -- the Runecrafting cape impacts all available Runecrafting altars with additional benefit, so why shouldn't the Mining cape impact all available Mining resources?

In conclusion, I think these small expansions on the Mining universe would add depth to the skill's gameplay and improve the overall experience encountered while participating in it. Thank you for your time and consideration, I look forward to reading all feedback.

This one isn't good.

Right now, you can equip prospector when getting your ores, which allows you to get the experience boost for it. If you got the experience when depositing ores, in order to gain the experience boost, you would need to wear your prospector during the activity. However, due to the high energy cost of the activity this would cause problems and force players to use potions to restore their energy, or to forgo the experience boost.

In short, what you are proposing would be effectively a nerf to Blast Mining.

In addition, many people like receiving a large experience drop. I talked with a few people literally today who said that they like to max out on ores before collecting so they can see the biggest exp drop possible. So your own feelings are not necessarily representative of others.

I realized when I set this one down that it would impact the players who utilize the full Graceful method and only equip Prospector for retrieving the ores, but thought I'd propose it anyway. Personally, I don't wear Graceful and utilize the max-efficiency method of blast mining that is popular. I prefer to just utilize a less click-intensive method, walking and wearing Prospector throughout the whole process. Perhaps a toggle-able option that allowed individual players to choose how they want to receive their XP would be a more diverse suggestion?
