Prayer Update - Zamorakian Hexes
==================
See the Guthix Rituals also HERE

Hello all,

I know it's been suggested here in these forums that the Curses for prayers be released like in RS3, but I feel OSRS needs its own flair, its own thing, so I'm suggesting Zamorakian Hexes. These will focus on "strength through chaos" and will have a mix of prayers that help you and hurt your opponent.

TLDR version: The Hex Prayer Book is a Zamorakian Chaos-based Prayer book where the Prayers generally help or hurt your opponent, but they often have random or chaotic elements to them that make them unpredictable or even harmful. It is NOT the "best book" in all situations and will have some situations it works better in than others. PvP is a big focus here.

The Hex Book ranges from Level 30 to 80.

===================
Access
-----------
My idea to access Zamorakian Hexes (or just "Hex Prayers" for short) is a sequel to What Lies Below called "In Chaos We Trust". I want to leave the bulk of the idea up to the Jmods to hash out, but the basic idea is joining up with the Varrock Palace Secret Guard once again to stop a devious plot by the Dagon'Hai to take over Misthalin. In the process, your character infiltrates as a member of the Dagon'Hai and gains access to the Chaos Tunnels, a new dungeon beneath the Wilderness (themed similarly to RS3). You find out that the Dagon'Hai want more than just to control Misthalin - they want to make their own Chaos God to take the place of Zamorak, who has seemingly abandoned them after the Third Age. They seek the advice and the secrets of the Chaos Elemental and attempt to harness the Chaos Altar's power...can they be stopped? (Probably lol). The post-quest boss has a thread HERE

The idea is for a Master-level quest requiring 30 Prayer (of course, other stats/reqs would be higher).

The Hex Prayers
-------------------
While on the Hex Prayer book, your prayer point drain is RANDOM of -1 to 5 points (so sometimes you even gain a Point), in respect to the "chaos" theme. This means the amount of Prayer Points drained each time is random, but the speed the Prayer drains is dependent on the Hex. This is shown for each Hex.
The symbols ~, ^, #, %, and & indicate families of Hexes, where only one can be active at any time. Also, only one Overhead Hex can be active at a time.
===========================
1) ~Hex of Nourishment (Level 30), Drain Rate: 6 seconds - while active, Food eaten will heal *random* amounts, centered around the food's normal healing rate +5%. It can heal up to 30% more or up to 10% less. On average, it heals the same +5%. So a Shark would heal 18-26, averaging 21. Can boost HP over max. Hex needs to be active for at least 3 seconds before it does anything.

2) ^ Hex of Futility (Level 34), Drain Rate: 1.2 seconds - while active, adds 10 to your Defence Level so Monsters/Players hit 0 more often. When a player in PvP hits 0, it drains a random amount from your Prayer Points. (Note: This is *worse* than Steel Skin Prayer as long as you have at least 67 Defense.)

3) & Hex of Hopelessness (Level 38), Drain Rate: 1.2 seconds - when active, opposing player's food will heal from 75% to 100% of its normal rate, but each time an opposing player heals HP, there is a chance you become poisoned. Outside of PvP, this Hex has a random chance to poison any enemy attacking you. Example: A shark (normally heals 20) will heal a PvP opponent anywhere from 15 to 20 instead, but it may poison you for using this Hex.

4) Hex of Darkness (Level 42), Drain Rate: 3 seconds - when active, blindness engulfs enemies, causing their Attack, Strength, Ranged, and Magic levels to drain randomly over time, increasing as time goes on, up to a maximum of 30% (if Hex ends, effects are immediately reversed). Over time, the Drain Rate of this Hex increases to 0.6 seconds.

5) # Hex of Knowledge (Level 46), Drain Rate: 18 seconds- when active, you receive increased experience through experience-granting activities, starting at 0.5% boost and increasing over time to 5% boost. However, as time goes on, you can become inflicted with Poison, and eventually, Venom.

6) % Hex of the Chaos God I (Level 50), Drain Rate: 6 seconds - when active, used potions will restore points/boost stats 0%-50% more than usual, but 10% of potions will be consumed for no effect. Example: If Prayer Potion usually restores 24 points for you, with this, it'd restore 24-36 points, but averaging 27 points (once you include the 10% of potions that will do nothing). Must have Hex active for 3 seconds before it will work.

7)% Hex of the Chaos God II (Level 50), Drain Rate: 6 seconds - when active, any Monster drops received have a 0%-5% higher chance to be of increased rarity/unique drops, but may rarely cause nothing to drop. In PvP, will nullify the Protect Item prayer sometimes, but not guaranteed. Example: Vorkath has a 1/5,000 chance of dropping a Skeletal Visage. With this, the drop rate on each kill varies between 1/4,761 and 1/5,000.

8) % Hex of the Chaos God III (Level 50), Drain Rate: 6 seconds - when active, any HP healed by you will restore 0% to 50% of those HP from all nearby players also, but has a 2% chance to Poison all of you.

9) Master Hex of Destruction (Level 54), Drain Rate: 1.2 seconds, Overhead - when active, you inflict 0%-15% more damage with attacks, but the max hit of attacks against you is also increased by 10%. Must have a "Hex of the Chaos God" Hex active in order to use.

10) ^ Master Hex of Futility (Level 58), Drain Rate: 0.6 seconds, Overhead - while active, adds 20 to your Defence levels so Monsters/Players hit more 0's. When a player in PvP hits 0, it drains a random amount from your Prayer Points. Must have a "Hex of the Chaos God" Hex active in order to use.(Note: This is better than Steel Skin always, and also better than using Super Defence Potion, and does not stack. However, it drains Prayer Points rapidly, and Super Defence Potions are considerably cheaper than Prayer Potions. It is better than Piety unless you have 81+ Defence.)

11) Master Hex of Death (Level 62), Drain Rate: 0.6 seconds, Overhead - while active, if you die, the square you die on becomes Hexed (red energy emanates from it) for 60 seconds. If any items (ie, the items you died with) are taken from that Hexed square, the player(s) who took it will gain the Hex of Death status, which auto-kills them in 120 seconds, with no way to avoid it. Must have a "Hex of the Chaos God" Hex active in order to use. (This gives the opposing player plenty of time to get to a safe area/bank, but still gives an element of danger should they choose to loot your gear.)

12) ~ Master Hex of Nourishment (Level 66), Drain Rate: 1.8 seconds, Overhead - while active, Food eaten will heal *random* amounts, centered around the food's normal healing rate +10%. It can heal up to 50% more, or as low as 20% less. So a Shark would heal 16-30, centered on 22. Can boost HP over max. Must have a "Hex of the Chaos God" Hex active in order to use. Only takes effect once it has been active for 3 seconds.

13) Master Hex of Pestilence (Level 70), Drain Rate: 0.6 seconds, Overhead - while active, players attacking you for more than 10 seconds will gain the Hex of Pestilence status for 20 seconds. With the status, all running, Prayer, and teleporting are disabled. If you activate this Prayer, changing Prayers is disabled until your Prayer Points reach 0. Must have a "Hex of the Chaos God" Hex active in order to use.

14) & Master Hex of Hopelessness (Level 74), Drain Rate: 1.2 seconds, Overhead - when active, opposing player's food will heal from 0% to 75% of its normal rate, but each time an opposing player heals HP, there is a chance you become poisoned. Outside of PvP, this Hex has a high chance to Poison enemies attacking you, and the Poison stacks, up to 20. Must have a "Hex of the Chaos God" Hex active in order to use. Example: A Shark (normally heals 20), it will heal opponents from 0 to 15 instead.

15)# Master Hex of Forbidden Knowledge (Level 76), Drain Rate: 12 seconds, Overhead - when active, each time you gain experience in a combat skill from combat, there is a small random chance (approximately based around 10%, but this number gets lower the more exp the action gives) to gain the same amount of experience in another random skill. You cannot choose what skill this goes in. Must have a "Hex of the Chaos God" Hex active in order to use. (Note: Estimated exp/hr for high-level players is 10k-15k exp, spread out into random skills.)

*** 16) Master Hex of Doom! (Level 80), Drain Rate: 1.2 seconds, Overhead - when active, Special Attack energy restoration is doubled (so 10% every 15 seconds). Also, each attack you deliver has a 2% chance to unleash a special secondary attack: This attack first drains your Special Energy bar by a random amount (up to 50%), then delivers damage to both you and your opponent(s) equal to HALF the percentage drained. You take 10-20% of the damage (so up to 5-10 damage), and all opponents attacking you all take the remaining damage (so all enemies attacking you would take random damage, up to 15-20). If your Special Attack bar is 0%, this effect doesn't activate. This Hex does nothing if you are not wielding a weapon with a Special Attack. Must have a "Hex of the Chaos God" Hex active in order to use.

*** 17) Master Hex of Oblivion (Level 80), Drain Rate: 3 seconds, Overhead - when active, the lower your Run Energy, Prayer Points, and HP becomes, the more damage you inflict. Every 10% your Run Energy is depleted below 50%, your max hit increases by 1. Every 20 Prayer Points below 80 your Prayer is, your max hit increases by 1. And every 5 HP you are below 50% of your max HP, your max hit increases by 1. Must have a "Hex of the Chaos God" Hex active in order to use.

*** 18) Master Hex of Infinity (Level 80), Drain Rate: 24 seconds, Overhead - when active, if Prayer Points would be depleted from the use of a Hex, there is a 50% chance it consumes no Prayer Points, a 49% chance it consumes Prayer Points as normal, and a 1% chance it depletes all your Prayer Points. Must have a "Hex of the Chaos God" Hex active in order to use.

*** = My idea for these 3 Hexes are they are unlocked as drops (possibly tradeable) from the Supreme Chaos Elemental, a post-quest boss.
