I agree. I think Sliske should die a hero in the end. I'd much rather see him redeem himself with one final act before he dies.. so I can tell him "I'm... proud of you, Sliske. I'll remember you always..." as he dies with a smile on his face...

I can't see Sliske swinging that far over. At least not immediately.

Given the history, it would take A LOT of work and time before the animosity between adventurer and Sliske diminished to this extent. I can't really see it happening.

But I still stand firm on using Sliske for something else after a defeat in Endgame. Change the dynamics and make him the less-than-desirable ally the adventurer needs for facing a larger threat.

I can't picture Sliske becoming a sudden 'good guy'. That would be a slap in the face for a well-built character, and rather jarring. But perhaps, just a short moment where the adventurer and Sliske work well together on a common goal. See the character from a new angle. Maybe things begin to change from there.

This would be far, far down the track, post-Endgame. Present time he's still very much in villain domain.
Guthix appeared frequently to us back in those days. I suppose he wanted to ensure balance and that he wasn't introducing something to this world to upset that balance.

It's not a slap in the face if it turns out he was good the whole time, and had to PRETEND to be bad. That's good character writing.

Considering Sliske's past and his actions and tendencies during the Empire...Well I have serious doubts about anything he does or says. Even if he did us some sort of favour with the Staff of Armadyl, if it was removing the False Toucher marker, then he could have just asked. Twice now he has tried to turn us into a Wight, seemingly, and this time he only stopped when he lost his temper at us seeing his plans

Fool me once shame on you.
Fool me twice shame on me.
He's used up all his chances with me.

He never had any intentions of giving us the Staff of Armadyl, not that I thought he would. But it shows that his word is worth nothing and the game for the gods he put into play is even more meaningless.

The only sane thing to do now is ignore the game and take him out of play. Maybe he has found a way to remove our Guardian powers. Fun. Fun. I'll can still kill him, that is why I have friends. And it maybe be the only way to flush the current sucker he calls Master out into the open.
The purpose of adventure is to shine light into dark places,
Poke monsters with a sharp stick, Then steal anything that isn't nailed down!

Did KS worsen or improve your opinion of Sliske?:

It improved my opinion of him significantly. He was introduced as a rather cunning figure, always lurking in the shadows and seemingly a few steps ahead. I feel like Kindred Spirits showed a newer side of Sliske first hand, like showing us how he tortured every Barrows brother, to me, showed just how dark he really was. Then the physical confrontation with the player? Oh yeah..

Definitely improved my opinion. My already favorite RuneScape bad guy has become my double favorite

if that's a thing :(

Do you plan to take vengeance against Sliske?

Yeah, sure. I'd like to inflict some sort of punishment and pain after everything he's done. It'll be cool to do so, too ^_^

Would you team up with all the characters you personally despise if it meant Sliske would be brought to whatever Justice you thought was right?:

Just don't make me team up with Saradomin and we're good :]
Whether I'm fighting, or spitting, my discipline is unforgiving, got you backin' up in the defensive position.

I believe Sliske will experience poetical justice sooner or later, but not necessarily by our hand.

The most fitting would be him becoming a (possessed) puppet himself, prone to the whims of the 6th elder god or Xau-Tak. Or perhaps being able to see and all and know all, but completly unable to interact with the world.

Trapped in the Shadows Realm somehow, perhaps? That'd be.. interesting.
