Today I realized that the morally grey choice between having Hannibus spend his final days with his kin or letting Kerapac experiment on him in the hopes of curing his race actually turned out incredibly bad for those that chose the latter option: the dragonkin, now free of their curse by destroying the Stone of Jas, have no reason to uphold their intention of healing the Illujankans. Thus there are people who now have Hannibus stuck in the lab of a dragonkin who would deem him as a now useless specimen. Glad I did not choose that option =p "One should not mindlessly follow gods or the godless:

We still don't know what the long term side effect is for the Dragonkin after being tied to the Stone for all of those eons.
Plus I thought the Kin could no longer reproduce?

Today I realized that Yetis are likely humans that completely lost their minds (Whereas the ones in the upcoming Violet is Blue likely retained their higher thinking) and, much like the Celestial Dragons, what we're doing can be considered a mercy killing.

Zooming out of the map, you can see that Violet's house was actually just a short boat ride away. But then we wouldn't have had such a fun adventure together!

We still don't have "protect from thok" in our prayer book

We still can't buy granite boots, though at this stage, there isn't much of a point as they would be pretty weak. But still a desire to own it after all these years.

We do, it's at level 121.
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

Killing gods is a good thing.

We either get:
- pools of energy we can manipulate (ie: Divination)
- funky ore deposits to make high tier equipment (ie: Light/Dark Animica for Elder Rune)

That's called "making the best of a bad situation", aka. "every cloud has a silver lining".

Killing gods actually has terrible consequences; the death of Guthix has rendered Geilinor vulnerable to potential destruction by malicious forces at any time. Killing Tuska could have potentially flattened the Wizard's Tower or any other settlement. Killing Bandos didn't achieve anything beyond simply removing Bandos. Both of these last two situations came after potentially civilization-ending events which wouldn't have happened if Guthix wasn't killed to begin with...

Sure, we have Divination and Invention. The problem is, these are both analogues to the modern age of power and technology: power tempts us into relying more and more on access to that power. The problem is, divine power like fossil fuel is *not* limitless. One day Guthix's divine energy will be spent, and that could result in a catastrophic collapse of civilization back to the dark ages - a situation which Wizard Fenix already fears will happen with Rune Essence, as humanity is already firmly reliant on runes.

*takes pool of Bandos energy*
*assumes stance*
*wiggles fingers*
*Solan in the background plays the kazoo and then the tamborines*
Ta-dah!
*spawns into existence the 3rd Best Thing Ever*
