Arma and Sara used to be BFFS, but after Sara killed his pets he became all mopey and blamed Sara for all his problems.

Nowadays he's pen pals with Sir Amik Varze, hangs out with this Zilyana chick (even though she's a bit crazy) and he likes to have a few pints with this Owen fellow, but he can get a bit too friendly sometimes.

I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?
- We call it being a hero.

I don't think he has any friends...that goes for most of the Gods. Zamorak has his friends from being a mortal and Sliske (if you count him) kinda does. Seren had Guthix. Armadyl miiight have a friend, but I doubt it. Bandos didn't. Zaros definitely doesn't...he might have some people who he likes, but I seriously doubt any of them would be considered "friends". Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

Eh, Zaros' appreciation of Azzanadra is something akin to friendship. And his fondness for Char is arguably along those lines, albeit twisted.

Though to begin with the idea of the gods having friends is a bit twisted, as friendship sort of requires you to be peers, and the gods' only peers are other gods, with whom their relationships are more like politics, Vorago who they do not know, and the World Guardian.

Though I would argue that the World Guardian is Zaros' friend, at least in those cases where the player reciprocates. Whether it's all an act or not, Zaros goes to great lengths to treat us like a friend.

He is certainly fond of them both, but I think friend is a strong word, and I doubt Zaros would use it. I doubt even Seren is friends with her mortal followers, despite her love for them. I think she really does just see them as her children.

Zamorak might have friends, but only because they're still alive from when he was a mortal. While I do think he does care for Moia, I think that is strictly a Father/Daughter relationship. I have a feeling Zamorak, Hazeel, and Zemourgal were all close when they were generals. Zamorak and Hazeel are described to be like brothers and Zemourgal...well this is just a hunch on my part, but some of his beef with Zamorak pre-DaT feels very....personal. I have a feeling Zemourgal was that 2nd Banana Ron Weasley type that was always overshadowed by his best friend. =P
