I think Xautak is Loarnab's father. He knew what happened to his son, but wasn't rooted in planet enough to prevent it. And we stopped his avatar (possessed human Tolna) from getting his revenge on the Usurper. But now he is here, and he is going to burst from Tolna's rift with his army of hydras, dagganoths, sea horrors and zombie pirates to go after us. After he eats Zaros first, of course. So I'd guess t2, so he can take him.

I always liked the idea of Xau-Tak coming from beyond the void and maybe not being a "god" in the same way as the others (as in he was never a mortal, and his power doesn't derive from elder artifacts), but that seems unlikely.

I doubt neither he nor the queen of ashes can be very powerful though. V was a rival of theirs and going by the fact that he was actually alive when we met him, I doubt they could have been T2. T3 is the highest I'd place them at, but even then 4 or even 5 seems more likely.

I kind of wish they never reveal their tiers tbh. I feel like too many times they are just barriers to good discussion (much more interesting to debate power based on feats and similar factors) and people have a tendency to get wayyy to hung up on who's what tier.

I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?
- We call it being a hero.

Let me troll a bit :D

QOA is t1 FUL trying to wake up before other elders do, so she can take most anima and be strongest of them. And XAUTAK is sixth t1 Elder, most powerful of all, so powerful that he doesn't even need a form, in the core of planet, even below other elders, and schism, stone, anima heart in gw2 and other crazy stuff are chains made by other elders that are holding him, so he bleeds anima for them to eat.

Hehe :)

I remember being absolutely blown away that seren was tier 2... some random nature goddess on the edge of the world, who had no real part in the god wars and no relevance in most of the game is suddenly one of the most powerful creatures on the planet
all the others were pretty much where I'd put them although I was surprised bandos used to be tier 3 (although I guess that's more so that he would be a player in the second god wars.... the goblin quest series weakened him by a tier and if he was tier 4 before, he'd be cabbage tier now)

so it doesn't matter too much to me, and it's helpful for stuff... plus, everyone knows being a higher tier doesn't necessarily mean you'd win in a fight, and nobody knows it more than zaros

oh, that would be cool :P
It'd certainly be better than "he used x artifact" or "he killed x god" like it is with... EVERY OTHER young god.

true... I also just think it's really cool when a nongod gets up there in the tiers in terms of power... like the dragonkin or hostilius (and, I'm guessing Lucien, very briefly). I am feeling like armadyl's story will be slightly more interesting than the typical though

I wonder if the fact that Xau-Tak is a reference to C'thulhu will have anything to do with my theory? Maybe a new form of "godhood?" A
