Nah that was just a joke lol, it's a nice concept and we do need more people actually playing minigames for fun rather than non-playing as you say. Heist is definitely something that provides a lot of enjoyment especially with friends you've known for a while. In terms of RS sports, not a lot of people know about them and I can talk to you about the sports league I'm involved in (or anything to do with what you've said) if you want.

And I'm not too bad thanks, you? :p

Didn't realise multi posting even worked nowadays. I dunno if I'm misunderstanding what you said but if you mean people taking different approaches to current minigames I'm not so sure that'd work. Jagex definitely need to do something about their decline as nearly everyone in the minigames now play them solely for the reward; we need updates which make them fun to play, and I feel this is why several groups of people have adopted to creating their own custom minigames in places like clan citadels or a POH.

About the NRC though, most of the information is actually within the thread in terms of rules and gameplay. What isn't shown is the sense of community and the friends you make from playing, and whilst reading your pages of posts about the current state of minigame communities it did trigger a thought about the NRC as it is one of the only "minigames" that contains a community playing for enjoyment rather than xp or item rewards.

In terms of how I came to play in it, there was actually a gnomeball league before it which had been going on for ages, with me joining relatively near to the end of its existence. This shows that the kind of thing you're talking about has actually been around for a while and I guess this is a positive thing. The gnomeball league died out, however, conveniently at the time of the Clan Citadel update, allowing us to make a brand new game which we all migrated over to.

It's a shame that your original FC collapsed though, hopefully this lounge does indeed build bridges between communities and we can maybe ignite the minigame community again.
