I noticed that the rune armor found from Treasure Trails (TT) (like Guthix, Gold-Trimmed,...) cannot be upgraded like the normal rune armor which can be upgraded up to +3.
In my opinion, this means that the TT armor is less usefull and now purely serves a decorative aspect.

My suggestion is, that armor found within TT should come in the highest upgraded from. For example: A Guthix Platebody should have the same stat as a Rune Platebody+3 instead of a base rune platebody. The same should apply for other metal-armor found from TTs.

trimmed armor should just be removed one day, totally useless nowadays and barely noticeable

maybe they should just convert to trim components that you can use to trim your own armor instead

Yeah having them at the maximum upgrade sounds fine.

I mean considering they're better than a fully upgraded elder rune longsword - why?

... eh, I mean... it's supposed to be cosmetic, but I also wouldn't mind either way.

I know they are purely cosmetic. Changing them to +3 won't affect their price that much. It's just the principle, that a somehow rare armor is worse than the smithable counterpart of the same tier.
Also, think about that rune armor is the best melee armor for F2P (correct me if I'm wrong), so the cosmetic version should also be at it's best.

That actually makes sense. It also would be coherent with other armor trimmings (like dragon for example).
Totally agree!

Sounds good to me, or maybe same as +2? I dunno, value should deffo be maintained, even if they're just cosmetic. Also, just to check, are all varieties of dragon items ornamentable?

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

agreed with TT armours should retain its value since its from TT & maybe get a boost in term of stats.

if not, should be more expensive since fort. comp comes from TT items tho.

They should probably be made to match the maximum upgrade version of their tier stat wise yes (addy has tiers too), it's a pretty minor point but anything less would discourage their use so it'd help to avoid making them straight up undesirable outside of overrides.

Should apply to all trim variants - (t), (g), god trims and heraldic...and gilded too for rune.
