Very afkablesaid: Awesome! I just got past rank 3,000 range today. Afking roarius and still getting decent xp/money.
congrats. i still cant see my ranking on rooftop run in sonic generations despite taking nearly all, if not all shortcuts available and still go fast (which isnt easy if timing isnt your thing). i wish there was a "your ranking" button on that kind of thing
not sure. still new to the rankings. whatever. you cant listen to custom music when playing online (you can play any song you unlock to enjoy the stage you like with the music you like. the upside to that is it wont get drowned out when you boost which is a frequent problem for me with original music)
Very afkablesaid: Oh, I see. I remember the game where you play as Shadow and you get to choose whether to be evil, good, or neutral. I also remember the one with those small blue things that you have to take care of.
i think you mean sonic adventure 2. its said to be one of the best sonic game ever made, but truth to be told, its very overrated. you actually dont choose to be evil, good or neutral. there are 3 stories: a hero story, dark story and the last story. the small blue things you are talking about is the chao garden. its a nice little distraction, but mandatory if you try to complete the game 100% due to the races
jokku, your "cool fact" reminded me a little of what people think of the new sonic games. some think its just boost to win. sure, forget all the tight spaces, platforms hovering over bottomless pits and rail segments
well, i was patient and havent said a gaming fact in a while, and because of jokkus criticism that the numbers were too random, i will announce the facts in the correct order now
GAMING FACT #1
after mario party was released, parents sued Nintendo because their children got blisters from having to rotate the analog stick quickly in some minigames. Nintendo had to pay $80,000,000 and gave out free gloves for everyone who owned a copy of mario party. because of this, mario party was never released on the Wii virtual console
anyway, being the impatient person i am (or i can say it to celebrate the return of blue Asian), i guess its time for
GAMING FACT #2
when SEGA sought a new mascot, they designed this new mascot around anthropomorphic animals. some of the early designs included an armadillo and a rabbit, both of which would be characters later (mighty and cream respectively). they finally settled on a hedgehog named Mr. Needlemouse, who was later renamed Sonic the Hedgehog, possibly to appeal to a mature audience
They see me rollin', they better run...

it seems to be a cycle for me. at morning, i look at posts written overnight. at daytime, theres barely any activity. at the evening, some activity is seen. at nighttime, theres more activity. at morning, i look at posts written overnight. i guess thats what happens when you live in Europe
ive been thinking of adding a "game fact timer" or whatever i should call it. whenever i think about adding a game fact, it feels like im not having big enough gaps so im thinking of having a pattern like once a week. whens the best time?
for me, its noticing things like drums or cymbals in the background that amplifies the music once you hear it. i do sometimes hear songs when the singer inhales or exhales while singing, but it doesnt bother me that much
in the game "Sonic CD", if you go to the sound test and type in a special code, you will be taken to a rather disturbing picture of several heavily distorted sonics giving a thumbs up. the accompanying music is equally creepy, later revealing itself to be the boss music in the US soundtrack. in the picture, a message in Japanese is written, translating to "Fun is infinite with Sega Enterprises. -Madin". this picture would also appear if someone bought an early pirated version of the game
i guess its time to write more "properly" when writing gaming facts, you know, to look more official
GAMING FACT #4
When Mortal Kombat was released, there was significant controversy surrounding the fatalities. Several parents were worried about the violence in the arcade game and wrote many complaints to Midway, the company that created the game. This brought a humorous twist, however. In an absurd method to counteract these complaints, Mortal Kombat 2 featured babalities (turning the dazed opponent to a baby) and friendships (sparing the opponent with a friendly act). These got mixed reviews by fans. Some thought they were a welcome comic relief while others felt they were out of place and unnecessary.
Youyousaid: The Godless do not pledge allegiance to a specific God, but they do believe in their existence. In a world were Gods roam the planet and have fights behind Lumbridge not believing in them is out of the question
i dont mean believing their existence since its very obvious that gods do exist in gielinor. i mean counting on them for help, worshipping them, that stuff. when i spoke to the emissary of the godless, he claimed that the godless believe they dont need a god. if thats the case, how can they still answer? agnostic godless?
the game "the sims" was originally going to be an architecture based game. the player would design a house then the sims would judge it. some time in development, more interest was directed towards the sims themselves and the game became a life simulator instead
to ruby, im Norwegian. you know, the country slightly to the east of England, almost touching at the world map (before you ask, no, i do not live on a mountain. my neighborhood isnt exactly flat, but not a mountain either). also, if you want to be even more stereotypical, have some crumpets with the tea
Froudsaid: very mad guysaid: Twillowsaid: Don't stand so close to me, Froudling!
personal space issues? i feel like im missing something important
-Stands über close.-
(Froudling is apparently the Joker. It is unclear who Batman is at the moment.)
um... i guess me? when i made up my character, i realized there are a few things in common: we both have armor made to intimidate people, both considered anti-heroes fighting for good because of a traumatizing event and i guess you can say both use a lot of tools to help (considering what you go through in dungeoneering). the biggest contrast is probably that batman has swore to never kill anyone while my character kills in the most brutal ways possible
They're O.K. to listen to once in a while, but all the radio stations here just play the same songs, so it's kinda boring after a while.
It's like, "OMG. I know this song!"
And... then you're like, "Oh..."
i like the radio in GTA V much better. at least the songs vary and you can listen to the genre you like rather than hearing the same song over and over and over (did*t "we are young" die because it was played way too much on the radio)
so... i was on funorb, just typing in username and pass as usual when playing another game. it says pass is incorrect, i type it again. incorrect. i go on OSRS, type it again, incorrect. i press caps lock button, still incorrect, press it again, still incorrect. turns out the shift key was stuck
Azphixsaid: very mad guysaid: so many short, dark haired people with santa hats. im going to need to look at the names to figure out whos who short? I thought every human on RS was the same height lol other than dwarves of course
Lady Deluxesaid: very mad guysaid: up to you people to speculate. i dont think anyone currently on forum games (aside from me of course) have actually seen behind the helmet Can I meet you in game and inspect you, which would involve taking of your helm???
speculations only, no guarantees. that would be cheating

speculations only, no guarantees. that would be cheatingYeah but, after inspection - how would I know if you're telling me the truth?? I want to see the handsome face under the heavy armour!
-points at the label on Mrs Usagi- giggles - What label...
Must of come of in shower...
Not a problem. We'll just get it tattooed on you instead And how are you going to achieve that?
black crayon? after all, i dont think tattoo ink exists in gielinor
Lady Deluxesaid: OMG, this message came up saying that I had made too many posts, then I was logged out - when I finally got back in the games forum, I counted 11 continuous posts (multitudes of double posts). lolz so funny!
were you the one responsible for all the locked duplicate posts on this or that?
i found out whats going on. i was underage at the time of membership payment so my father is the one paying for subscription. apparently someone tried to misuse his credit card number and the bank called the bluff so its been deactivated. i wont get membership again until the card is active once more
