The armors that don't dissemble for Fortunate components, so all (t) and (g) variants plus Saradomin, Zamorak and Guthix Rune armors, are only worth marginally more than the normal armor in most cases and in some cases are actually worth less than regular armor of the same tier.

First of all I don't get why the decision not to have them dissemble for Fortunate components. Seems arbitrary and sad.

But given things are as they are, I think the buy limit of two every four hours is unreasonable. At the very least if they had the same buy limit as regular armor pieces they could be worth buying for alchemizing or dissembling, but as is they are only of any value to someone who actually likes how the armor looks, which is a rare crowd outside of F2P.

Increase the buy limit to normal, 100 per four hours. That's my suggestion.

I think given that they don't have fort comps, you're right.
No reason for a buy limit of 2.

My understanding is they used to have god components, that's why they didn't have forts.
They removed the god components (no idea why) but resisted adding forts likely because they seem to be against ppl making bank overnight.

I think investing is part of the game, & if ppl get lucky, so be it - but I have heard a J-Mod specifically say they try to avoid ppl making bank overnight (was on a twitch stream).

I support your suggestion.

Also as far as I know, all elite clue items that are expected to have fort comps, do.

It's in the hard clue items where you have to double check the items (usually done easily enough by price checking when you get them), because some do & some don't have fort comps.

No idea about easy or med clue items.

I am almost certain they never had god components, since the former p2p variants (bandos, zaros, armadyl) always offered fortunates - it's just the f2p ones which didn't.

No matter what - that of course is something that should be fixed.
