I was on w84 Lumbridge combat training arena for a few hours and I've seen a player with multiple accounts lighting fires everywhere to prevent people from using their portable skilling stations, and I've been told this has been going on for a while. It doesn't look fun to work in..

I was wondering if the Ninja team could either make it so that portables can be placed on fires, or if portables can be placed closer to banks while the fires can't be placed near the banks. Both the portables and the fire places seem to share the same rule on that.

I think this fix would help keep the toxicity away from the community. The people creating the fires keeps trying to say offensive stuff for the sake of making people unhappy - the combination of the 2 is very disruptive.

Just ignore them. Toxic players take satisfaction when they annoy other players and obtain the attention they crave. They'll get bored if players don't react in annoyance.

For toxic speech, just report them and place them on your ignore list. You can even report them for disruptive behaviour (the mass lighting of fires and toxicity in general), and Jagex will investigate their account if many players place reports in.

I mean Jagex could just make it a fire free zone, but these players will definitely find other ways of annoying players. You just need to do what a responsible member of the community would do, and report toxicity to Jagex.
Hard -> 3a Range Top (#357), 3a Full Helm (#439), Barrows Dye (#1755)
Elite -> Shadow Dye (#510), Barrows Dye (#680, #1567), 3a Druidic Staff (#969), Sack of Effigies (#972), Ice Dye (#1539)
Master -> Barrows Dye (#480)

just hop

I am posting this on behalf of hundreds of others - you go tell them that, also the player in question will just follow the crowd.

I am very well aware about all of that, and you may be right about them finding something else to annoy the players, and it's a little irritating to 'just report' people want to see some action take place.

Maybe they can make that one area fire proof. it is a combat training area and makes it very difficult to do that as well. with the amount of people there, it really lags some peoples computers. I do go other places or come back later. but how does leaving help those that spent all that gp on portables they set up, to help so many players, and then they just abandoned them because one person wants to be a not so nice person?

Is this any different that players lighting fires inside POF animal pens?

Now, you can not light fires in pens; or, if you can light fires others can see them.

Basically, saying this type of fix has been done before.
