Can a counter be added to its examine or something to track how much gold it has collected for you over time or something. I think it would be neat

Why?

So you can have one more thing to brag about?

I think more so a player can watch as their investment returns more over time. A lot of players struggle to see how the Gold Accumulators are worth the cost in time/tokens. Besides, we get other pointless counters like how many quest points you have for the Lorehound pet, as if that's even a number worth bragging about. This one would be more of a way of justifying an investment to yourself. Now you may not see that as necessary, I understand; some people in this world are immune to the sensation of "buyer's remorse." However many people value their time and resources and like to know that they've made the correct choices with them.

Besides, it's not like he's asking for a QC option that he can spam at the Max Guild. Wouldn't exactly be brag-bait when anyone could just lie about what their counter says.

If this is what it takes to get some one interested in buying it, then my word.

Plus i dont see why everything that gathers things needs to have a counter?

This is exactly like the ppl demanding more and more toggles:@

It has nothing to do with getting someone to buy it in the first place; I can't honestly say I've met someone experiencing buyer's remorse for something they haven't bought yet...

It's for allowing the player to track how their investment is paying off over time. Some players enjoy knowing those long term numbers; it's one of the main reasons behind why many people use RuneMetrics. People like to track their progress.

Why must they have a counter to see if its paying off?

I mean they already know it does as they never have to deal with gold left behind ever again.

i didnt know people didnt understand how amazing the gold accumulator is. :o how do people not see it as good investment :o

i spent like 5m tokens on the usual ones before it was released, still bought the gold one even though ive barely used it. but still happy i have it.

for on topic further

eh if asking for a qc for it. no that just annoying. a message in your own tab or a hover over thing like you can to see amount of charges left. but obviously to see coins gathered. then sure
Satan loves you

Not asking for a QC, just the hover or examine to see how much i gather over time doing mass slayer tasks and such. maybe even just the total amount that it removes from the game 10% at a time would be cool. would just like to have some info from it to tell apart how much gold i just pickup vs how much gets alched, or spring cleaned since it all ends up in the same pouch.

Why do people use RuneMetrics? They can just look up the xp rates/ dps rates/ gp/hr rates of various methods. Why do they need this?

It's because they want it. People like to watch as their investment pays back in dividends.

Why do people buy wealth evaluators? The value is usually inaccurate because of items being over max cash stack or dyed items not counting.
Why do people want to keep track of how many slayer monsters they've killed? Knowing it benefits them in no way.
Why is there a counter for how many kicks on a beach ball or Frisbee thrown? Who even plays them anymore?

Just to add a few more.
