Whats the point of doing quests to unlock dragon equipment if its now worthless? NOTHING
My suggestion is to make dragon equipment upgradeable all the way up to tier 10 yep you heard it here folks tier 10, lvl 99 son.
Firstly I suggest a quest to make each stage unlockable, so a 5 part quest part one making regular dragon smithable then a part for each tier up.
Raw dragon metal would take several pieces of dragon equipment to make bc as a human metal is lost in the creation process and the process is entireably failable, the system would take 3 pieces of equipment to make 1 bar with total failure possible at every step and reduced failure rate as smithing and runecrafting lvls increase, from the magic imbuing in making dragon equipment.
Each tier would degrade to the previous tier with decreasing use as tiers increase and it becomes more "unstable", my recommendation for tier 10 is a mere 30 min of use, making it very powerful but also very very costly to make.
This would be balanced with a small addition, there is already a dragon staff which would be jsut as upgradeable as regular dragon weapons, the addition of a bow would complete the balancing. I also think this would bring good balancing to the overall game as there is a lack of quality tier 8 and 9 equipment that is somewhat accessible for people who dont do high lvl bossing, have tons of money or do POP while still being difficult to attain.
I would love some feedback from ppl who know the lore, bc i dont, and if theres anything that could be added to make this more lore-friendly i would love ot hear it Ghad: struggling against the enemies of me boiz
