Hey yo, its bear.

Been wanting to make this for a while, I recently re-found a quote I'll use.

The members Loyalty Programme hasn't had much love for a long while, and most of the stuff individually - aside for high tier auras should easily be buy-able after short couple months.

We get a fair(sometimes even good/great) amount of Solomon updates, a couple of them do offer a Loyalty point option for purchase.

The few SGS offerings with those Loyalty options, well- are not Loyalty exclusive but rather a nice nod to us who rather not buy RuneCoin.

One of the main interests of the Loyalty program back in the day was the outfits, all sorts of neat cultural based outfits. But most of those first & second wave outfits are rather cheap Loyalty wise now.

I suggest a new wave of higher-price Loyalty point exclusive Cultural Outfits/Equipment.

And I also support and suggest more Loyalty exclusives in general.
This thread is mostly for the mentioned outfits.

I found quote some time ago, it does resonate with my own LP situation.
Original message details are unavailable.
A majority of players in the game have hundreds of thousands of loyalty points,

I see the new Loyalty pieces, being anywhere from 50k to 200k Loyalty Points. With prices around those, players could still get a couple new additions to their wardrobe and effectively burn up some of that point load.

I myself, am in the 900k+ club for Loyalty Points.

Spending that away on what? two big auras, maybe four bank boosters?
New outfits sound better to me imho.

I know, cough it out already bear! I'm just about there.

My character limit is inching up on me for this first post, so I'll try to fit in a little list here, then expand more detail.
I'm gonna have post 1, 2 and maybe two or three res's for extra stuff.

Ya, list won't fit...See post 2!!!
It'll be more expansive anyways.

^_^ :O
Brief rundown and extra tidbits- I'm suggesting some western and eastern outfits some more modern than others- but not drastically out of the runescape time loop/scene/era.
Something new I'd like for the outfits to usher into SGS in gerenal new releases- two re-color blocks(so like body/trims). Maybe the folks rallying for what they call a "Face Slot" will have success- I'd like more variation in that area too.

New Loyalty Programme - high tier - Cultural Outfits & Equipment suggestions

Basic tier (maybe 50-100k)

Frontiersmen
- Hunter/Rifleman
Hat, neck, body, legs, boots. Maybe a unique- hefty throwing knife overrides
The body would a Hunting Frock - a type of layered and fringed coat. Be great it hangs over hips, vs have part of it be stuck to legs. The pants at rather utilitarian canvas, few buttons. The hat could be a basic wide flat brimmed hat with belt or maybe a tricorn. Basic leather footwear but a buckle or string wrappings. Necklace with a "gorget" amulet and some beads.

Frontiersmen
- Trapper/Buckskin
Hat, neck, body, legs, boots - Maybe a large bowie-style realistic knife melee override.
Think of it as a Davy Crockett styled outfit, lots of tan leather with fringe, maybe mocasins. Some of fur hat- maybe with a badge in center. Necklace, maybe some claws ;)

Eastern Sage & Hermit will be continued on next post. Followed by next tier

Basic tier - continued

Eastern Sage
- a true Yogi/Sadhu, famished desert wanderer
Hat, hair/beard/face, neck, legs, feet. I'd propose a unique skin offering: soot covered dark-skin for use with other attire. Hat, maybe some sort wrap, hair- overgrown long/some dreads, beard long and twisty, the body slot would give a skin-bones look very ribby. The legs would also be skinny with a sort of loin clothe/wrapping over hips and pelvis. Neckslot some sort of beads/flowers the hang down mid torso. Face have some face-paint markings. If not familiar with a Sadhu, go google it, lots of great images of these fascinating holy-men and women(Sadhvi).

Hermit
- Swamp/Shire, a rather earthy attire
I was watching the TBX premier on-demand and was inspired by the sheep-person(erm thought the person was a girl till the campfire and jokes started...O_o).
Hat, hair, body, legs, feet. The whole outfit should have mossy/grimy feel. some sort of flappy leather misshaped hat, dirty choppy hair possibly including twigs/grass in it. Kind of robe-undershirt covered by a muddy vest, the pants and boots should also be muddy with visible tears and patches to show-off the poverty and trouble of swamp life.

End of Basic tier

^_^
Middle tier - next post

Middle tier - (100-150k?)

Eastern Monk
- based on irl Buddhist monks and related fantasy depictions
Hair, face/beard, neck body, legs, feet, cape/wing(slots). I propose also propose outright animations or idle items/overrides included.
The hair, maybe a unique monk-bald or braid+bald, face maybe a calmed facial features. Robes(body/legs) long wavy/draping materials. Maybe utilize cape and wing-slots in unconventional ways for long sashes/wrappings ontop of robes.
Idle animations and/or items. Offer a means to have either or both hands held in-front or behind mid-torso as in a meditative exercise, possibly have an item cupped in hand(could serve as a mage override?) such as a charm/totem item(chanting drum?), candle, flower blossom or tea-cup.
:D and for neckslot, a type of big-bead prayer style necklace override-- similar to the one affixed to the now defunct panda-fur-person outfit. Folks begged you guys back in the day for it to be- un-panda-fied, with no yield. Necklace would be a big seller stand-alone

Western Outlaw
- Desperado
Hat, face/beard, neck, body, legs, boots, gloves, cape/wings)slots. Walk/idle animation. Some kind of weapon(open to input),
A dusty wide brimmed cowboy hat, darkened dust goggles, bandanna face-cover(or down as a neck-slot item). I support the option to have any combo of those up at same time(see this rare option in Runecrafter hat/googgle on/off and Revolutionary in SGS). In a would be "face" or currently beard slot, I'd like a heavily scarred face and some whiskers. I suggest two body options, one short coat or vest and one long trench coat. Gloves, maybe knuckle gloves/wraps. Cowboy style boots(maybe spurs included). Legs, I'd like cotton pants and maybe a metal knee brace on one/or both legs. The Walk/Idle, injured/limping gait(knee brace lends to it). Cape/Wing slots- belt/holsters/bandoliers?

High tier - (150 - 200k)

;)
I don't want to describe every article of the outfit, so I'll note pieces of particular interest in efforts to conserve space.
Using OR for override/skin, think us SGS folks will know this?

Tribal Chief
- Native American styled Chieftain attire
Two headpieces and two torso: Long headdress and beaded/fringed shirt, short headdress- war bonnet and bone-bead breastplate.
Weapon overrides: MH/OH tomahawks in two styles, one feathery and painted, other more primitive styled. Staff - a long branch with an elk skull topper and some feathers hanging from it.

Western Military General
- inspired by Generals uniforms from the American Civil War
Cavalry saber and gloves. The saber will have a visible metal sheath at the hip. The gloves will have long cuffs that come up the forearms a bit and flare. I wouldn't mind asymmetrical offhand, maybe a large knife with sheath or a dagger like bayonet. Binoculars neckslot OR, map plotting rest ani?

Eastern Warlord
- Genghis Kahn inspired
Similar to Chief outfit, two body opts- ornate robes and a battle plate.
Recurve bow OR, and Guan Dao OR. The latter is similar to halberd- has unique wield stance, ornate decorations on blade and hilts.

END
. for now. ;)
I also think a sort of "Pirate King" outfit would a great loyalty piece, especially if they had a buyable base with unlockable extras ingame- like Curse of Varrock and boss outfits.

I'm gonna put one more res post- that will also serve as the reviving bump- since I've been chiseling away at this thread for a while.

Support! May I make a few suggestions too?

-Some kind of royal outfit. The monarch outfit was rather blah, especially for females. Royal can be many forms- I like the idea of Roman/ Grecian royalty, with fancy decorative robes. Or you can look to British history for a time period for royal attire.

Alternative you could do royal fairy costumes.

-Fairy costumes for men and women- while not a human cultural costume, they would be a RS cultural costume.

I might add more when I feel more awake.

But I love the idea of newer, more expensive loyalty costumes.
