Turkstasaid: Making Oddments permanent will bring in many positive benefits to both Jagex and players alike, as Jagex can make more money and players can spend money to obtain the items at their own pace.
Turkstasaid: Because normal promos have some special items going on that take over treasure hunter. However oddments could be made permanently with and without promos going on, as evident with this buried in treasure promo. Oddments r still here
Yes thats only due to the fact jagex said its staying throughout june.
Turkstasaid: They also didn't want free trade coming back. Look how it is now. Just because they don't "Want" something (btw where did it say they don't want it? They expressed no concern of not wanting it) doesn't mean that it still can't happen.
UrekMazinosaid: Transcendentsaid: It would be nice if you could use them to get Slayer masks and head slot item upgrades for skilling outfits that let you claim items from them daily once upgraded like the Farmer's hat and such. You can already get slayer masks (all of them) from shattered worlds. You can already get the skill outfit add-ons from various minigames/DnD. Would be pointless to add those to the store.
Ppl asked for th items to be available ingame, thus just because a source of them is dead content, yes im referring to shattered worlds, doesnt mean they need to make yet another source.
Let alone one thats from the "original" source.
I mean you can still get the masks from th as is thus another reason it'll be pointless.
NannyOggsaid: Maybe, but it would really depend on the item. I mean I bought the energised arm cannon and the Radalin sword and all their upgrades (already had the staff from the event), but that was only because I had the oddments anyways. I prefer the coins. It's not much usually, and I do not convert every price I get, I keep prismatics etc. for skills I really do not care about like Dung (it's a bloody minigame Jagex!), but it's a nice little bit of pocket money from daddy Jagex.
The oddments shouldn't remain as automatically favourited, that'd be really annoying indeed. But yeah, let those who want to keep their leftover oddments for when the shop returns, as it seems to be a recurring thing now. Just because I don't care if I lose leftover oddments doesn't mean it wouldn't be nice for those who do like the shop to keep theirs.
