Hello,

I am writing to inquire the current status on the XP bug that affected pures over a month ago and I was wondering if Jagex has put out any further information regarding this matter... As I really would like to know where I stand with this accounts progression going forward from here.

My IGN is DeadBattery; I was affected by the XP Bug on day of patch shortly after release; I had submitted to the official thread within the first 10 posts and would just like to have some kind of insight/response as too where this rollback stands... as mine would've been genuine and a minute XP amount to rollback.

I hope to hear from someone soon and thank you again for your time and everything you guys/gals do for us players!

Hey man!

I am also waiting, though I didn't manage to post on the thread due to lack of knowledge of the thread's existence until a couple of days ago, when it was closed off...

Please, if you're a Jagex mod and reading this, help me out and reset my def exp that I got from the bug with a rune halberd, RSN: "eat the maul".

Such a shame, this shouldn't happen, not our faults :(

I posted an appeal on the thread talking about the XP glitch and check my stats daily but still have not heard a word or had my XP fixed. Its getting annoying and find myself not wanting to really play my acc anymore. Especially because of the complete lack of communication when it comes to this problem.

@Arjuna Tank - I couldn't agree more, this is preposterous from such a sized company...

My acc was a month in, with hard quick gains until THEIR bug detrimentally tainted it to the point of me questioning even playing it any further(my members ran out shortly after XP Bug and I was due to put a $90/year plan on it until the bug ensued...)

I have since then (including, but not limited too) - putting a $10/month members (x2 as of 3/19/19...) back on it all the way to getting adequate gains recently, in hopes of a move/response from Jagex's end. But to no avail, here we are a month down the road and we don't even have a response or any sense of precedence in regards to this matter.

This whole situation could've been handled a lot differently... and quite frankly has ruined my morale and desire to even play this game as a whole on any of my three accounts... yeah, figuratively speaking this isn't a huge monetary value to Jagex, but what if we all felt the same and just dropped out completely?

I would just like a more secure sense of support from an entity of this size...

This player is a continuously committed osrs player that has been burdened by the lack of action on the jagex team. His claim is legitimate and his 9 attack, 948 xp should have been reverted a long time ago, as he was one of the first to post that the update caused this issue. Please do something to revert his account or at least provide some more detailed communication that action will be done, so he knows he hasn't wasted hours upon hours in effort towards his specific account build and can continue building throughout the account repair.

Highly appreciate everyone who has seen and said something within this thread; thank you for kindness and your concerns!

And my condolences go out to those all, who were also legitimately affected by this bug. :(

But guys, according to the most recent announcement on the home page, Jagex's customer service is actually fine and all the complaints are just myths. So, I can't imagine what you could possibly be talking about.

LMAO, IKR..."myths" yet, not one response from a Jagex employee on this thread or any other from what I can see in last few days...only further iterating the fact, that - if you're not on Twitter or Reddit (which I am on neither; nor, will I create one to reach out to a multi million dollar entity....) you will NOT receive help...

Hey tmr, sorry this has taken so long to fix. It's been a lengthy and complex process to make the changes that will allow us to rollback individual accounts. On top of that, we've had to manually verify every player who has gotten in touch via the Forum thread we posted. We're pretty much there now though so if you were affected by the XP bug on Feb 21st, you can expect your account to be sorted on Thursday with the update. If it's not, you can find out all the details you'll need to get in touch directly for getting it resolved.
