Rankings are based on your EHP rank on the CrystalMathLabs tracking website. Your rank can be checked via the Virtual Hiscores under "Time Played" with your mode, either Ironman or Ultimate Ironman, and "On Rs Hiscores", selected.
Any ironman/ultimate ironman account is welcome to be a smiley rank in the fc. The only requirement is that you apply for it. Non-ironman accounts are not allowed in the cc unless it is due to an extenuating circumstance. Being a smiley means you are a friend to the cc, not a member.
The requirements to be a ranked member of Solum are to be an ironman/ultimate ironman with the given criteria met:
Top 750 EHP: Recruit (1 chevron) Top 350 EHP + 1 Month in Clan: Corporal (2 chevrons) Top 200 EHP + 1 Month in Clan: Sergeant (3 chevrons) Top 75 EHP + 3 Months in Clan: Lieutenant (Bronze star) Top 25 EHP + 5 Months in Clan: Captain (Silver Star)
Generals will be decided based on their maturity, dedication to and interest in the clan, and willingness to help moderate. This rank is not based on account achievement.
: If you are an ultimate, your rank is based on your EHP rank for other ultimates, not just for standard ironmen.
*Please don't obsess over ranks - they're just bananas next to your name.

You must be an ironman account to be a member of the clan. Others are welcome to apply for a smiley rank, but will not be considered a member of the clan.
To apply please fill out the following in a reply on this thread:
Mode (Standard/Ultimate): Applying for Smiley or Membership?: Reason for Interest: Current Goals for Your Account: Did You Read the Rules?:
Please check your EHP before applying. We will still check to make sure you're being truthful, but if you're not eligible to join there's no reason to apply. If you want more information please head over to my YouTube channel, Autumn Elegy, for a video about the clan which includes a step-by-step guide on how to check your EHP.
You can contact me or any of our generals (
) to have your application reviewed, and if you meet the requirements you will be accepted immediately.

Remember, RuneScape is an open path game with many options and ways to complete the same goals. The best way to go about reaching a goal is to make smaller goals which lead towards the bigger goal in mind. That said, there are more efficient ways of achieving certain things, or ways that are less efficient but more fun. In Iron Man mode, XP is just as important as item collecting. For example, it is better to bank iron ore than mine it and drop it (depending on your goals). No one can tell you how to play the game, but here are a few ways to get you started on your Iron Man journey.
How can I make money?
-Thieving is a popular way to start making money. 1-5 pickpocket men in Lumbridge. 5-20 steal from cake stalls in Ardougne It is ideal to bank the cake you steal. Keep some bread too, it is needed for a few quests. 20 steal from silk stalls, bank the silk, wait 10 minutes (must be logged in) sell back to merchant in Ardougne for 60 each. At level 30, you can do The Feud quest for 15k xp, however some people thieve silk until 42, so after the quest you can start blackjacking at 45. 45 Blackjacking is a very click intensive way to get money, however the XP starts to come quickly after level 55 and 65. Aubury has a video on blackjacking on his youtube channel, please refer to that for more information. -Killing things with fire strike. -Lava dragons. Please look up a guide on youtube to kill lava dragons. -Ecumenical keys. * Items dropped by monsters in the Wilderness God Wars Dungeon. These low alch for 41k and high alch for 61.5k*
What quests should I do?
It is completely up to you what quests you would like to do, however there are a few that get you some good starting levels with low requirements. -Waterfall quest -Witch's House -Tree Gnome Village -The Grand Tree -Merlin's Crystal -Holy Grail
