Not sure if I'm allowed to name the other client here but why has that client (OSB) managed to put in the zoom feature within a day or two after the resize update but you guys cant?

Although the ability to zoom the camera isn't hard for us - heck, Ian showed it off on a livestream once - he will need to install support in the engine for storing your zoom preference over logout. It'd be totally lame if we gave you zoom but you had to re-zoom every time you hopped world. The 2007 game engine didn't have a facility for storing extra data in your cache because the engine developer(s) up to 2007 didn't see a need for it. So Ian's got a job to do there. Hopefully not a big one.

That feature would also let us store scrollbar positions over logout for things like the worldswitcher, or store the vertical height of the chatbox if I let you expand it vertically, etc.

Someone plz help Pyramid Plunder !!! When in Resize-mode the hourglass is in the middle of screen taking half of the monitor space.

The hourglass is in the bottom right corner as it was in fixed mode, but in resizable it's nudged in so that it doesn't go behind the chatbox or inventory panel.

I've no objection to putting it somewhere else. After all, that's just what I did to the Barrows overlay today.

Where would you like it put?

It would be lovely if the close inventory tab option with hotkeys could possibly also not move the arrangement of the tab locations being above and below the inventory instead of always just all long the bottom (hate it that way) but love being able to close the tab

If you've got the stones arranged above and below the inventory, we do not offer the ability to close the tab because the hollow gap in the middle looks really weird, and the space isn't usable for anything else.

My suggestion would be moving it to top left corner as it is not in use of any other layout, and make it that you can click through it or make it slightly smaller (would make easier to open doors).

Top left would potentially cover the text that tells you what you're clicking on, though I suspect most people don't need that text anyway.
It's scalable. Should be possible to click through it already.

Thanks.

any idea on when XP drops will be polled / added to the game?

Polling very soon.
We're prioritising this one ahead of LootShare, btw. I guess that'll disappoint some players, but hopefully it'll make others happy.

is it possible to increase or even double/triple the render distance? it would be nice to have a bigger field of view.

I don't have any data on this, but anecdotally I gather many players find their framerate isn't very high in resizable mode. [*]

With that in mind, the extra processing associated with a bigger draw distance is probably not going to do anyone any favours. So it's not something we're investigating right now.

[*] Many players also report that their framerate's a lot worse if they're using certain 3rd-party clients, and that it improves if they use our simpler official client.

Hopefully any share system will be based on shard share, and not the proven-to-fail old system how items get stuck in the GE due to the fact the system generates money before a purchase for that item even occurs (and I shouldn't even have to mention how inflationary coinshare would be)...

I would expect us to poll CoinShare separately from LootShare itself. There's a fair bit of opposition to CoinShare for the (extremely good) reason you specified.

Can you please fix the weasels near the minimap in fixed mode.

I had a go last week, but found it's going to need some engine changes from Ian to decouple the minimap's click-zone from its visible zone. It'll come.
