This was completely misleading result, if re-polled to what they actually did it would have failed miserably.

I voted yes for it thinking they allowed us to teleport directly to each cave beforehand and this would remain the case once they were split up. If they had of specifically noted the fact no teleport to the new caves would be available and running across the map would be a necessary component then no way am I voting yes to it.

You realize there are teleports to every new dungeon right? The dev team wanted to keep the run time nearly equal if not faster to each new location.

I voted 'yes' to it.. BECAUSE it split up that one-stop-slayer-shop.. and I'd guess I'm not the only one who did.

The obvious lesson to be learned here (for at least some peeps) is that you should fully inform yourself and not blindly vote yes to everything.. think about the impact on the game, before you just close your eyes and say 'without updates the game will die' lol.


The lesson to be learned here is to be more detailed in explaining the update, like I said I was all for splitting up the npcs and giving more locations to kill each npc, that in itself makes slayer easier saving the countless world hops looking for a spot. They should have stated there would be no teleports to these new dungeons which is a complete change up from the previous stance of all access being direct.

Add a new ring or necklace to teleport to the metal drags, taverly dungeon, etc and the update is fine, been playing this game for 14 years I don't need to be running around the map for the hell of it because some idiot thinks it will make slayer more slayer.

The skill was originally intended purely to give variety to training methods which is why the black mask was added and why the cave and ring were also added to balance the exp rates with regular training methods. If the gap in exp rates became so severe the skill itself would become pointless which is virtually where we have gone back too now. If you started a fresh account now you could max out in nightmare zone in 1/4 of the time and then go make multi million dollar at raids long before you even got to 85 slayer to get a whip drop.

I would almost guarantee that you aren't currently training slayer which is why you are acting like a tart about this.

Blue dragons don't even exist for one, metal dragons have a clue teleport some distance away with no nearby bank so it requires multiple teleports to bank bones, the demon cave is no where near a teleport & black dragons unless your house portal is in taverly is miles away from falador/buthorpe teleports

1. Blue dragons - they are polling this in the upcoming poll. Somehow this was missed by the staff.

2. Metal dragons - Fairy ring code: CKR to the new metal dragon entrance. Edgeville tele to bank and get back quickly.

3. Demon cave - Fairy ring code: DJR and you're literally right next to the cave. This new fairy ring location conveniently makes lizardmen/shaman a lot easier.

4. Black dragons - These were located in the very back of Nieve's cave. If you actually timed the run distance, they would be about equal. Fally tele, bank, jump wall, repeat.

5. Cave Kraken/waterfiends - Fairy ring code: AKQ. Run west to shoreline.

6. Kalphie - Dueling ring/lumby tele/necklace of passage/fairy ring code: BIQ

If you literally took 5 minutes out of your day to research these things, you wouldn't have to flame on forums for no reason.

1. Polling adding it to a dungeon they already exist in that is no where near as close as it was to a bank.

2. Its closer to run from ardy almost then use fairy rings by the time you factor in getting to the fairy ring as well as the fact you require quest cape + staff rather then 1 equip-able ring.

3. They are a cannon task with no drops it doesn't matter how close they are.

4. Black dragons were in the middle next to greater demons it is at least twice as far if not more now.

5. Kraken is fine, never mentioned it

6. Kalphites, once again a cannon task with no drops and once again closeness to a bank doesn't matter.

If you had bothered to read any of my responses you would know my complaint is about how dragons in particular have lost their usefulness to those of us who bank bones/hides in fact I haven't done a single dragon task since this update for that reason.

All I want is a bank deposit somewhere near dragons so slaying them doesn't end up a 2k an hour task if we want to collect their drops, if you took 5mins out of your day to read my post you would know that.

Since the update, the surface entrance north of Shayzien bank has disappeared. Did it move or are there only 3 now? PLayed as Leo the bald for 12 years, now playing iron(wo)man account named after a short term gf.
