please Quit polling things the community obviously does not want to fit your own agenda. Instead of polling this new content why not implement upgrading barrows armour to the new top tier Creates an item sink and keeps barrows profitable. That way if pvp armour does get introduced barrows sets (besides dharoks) wont become essentially useless.

So instead of an 800k fee or whatever for the mage robe body you have to pay 100k and sacrifice an Ahrim Robe top to it.

The person whom pks the top simply gets 500k coins. And the ahrim top is "sunk" from the game.

Be a much better and more welcomed concept.

you cant release the weapons but you'd like to bring back the armor??? first of all, you can, and you should, but you wont because you have your own agenda. which is to release what you feel like releasing and refusing to "poll" what real long term players actually want.

Why poll anything if YOU pick and choose what you want to release and not even consider what we actually want in OUR game that WE chose to play
. that is not the point of polls and democracy. im done participating in these rigged polls again. Your the same jagex you were back in 2012.

Did any of you actually used to play back in the day? like not once a day/week but like actually play every single day for hours and hours for fun? do you not know how fun it is to take a vls spec to the face, or a pile drive to the face??

i had billions of coins but i didnt use vls spec when pking because i didnt want to waste the money, point being, not everyone and thier dog walked around using these weapons, some of us actually just liked killing the revenants for the huge rewards in terms of cash and solo pvm content yet risking getting pked 247... Stop polling anything since your becoming more and more transparent that you only poll what you want to poll and you skew it in your favor to be passed or failed by throwing caveats and covenants in every poll that tilt them in the favor that you want them to be.

It's kind of impossible to really think about the "Loot key scrolls" without knowing what kind of loot they ACTUALLY give. Can a Jmod share a few pictures of what potential loot can be found with the scrolls? I'm not even sure what I'm really voting for in the end...

Are they literally just the entire loot from a player you killed but kept in the form of a single key, so that you're able to pick up multiple without having to bank? And what about the loot from the Revenant ones?

I'm all in favour of pvp armours however the way the dev blog explains it is hella confusing.

PvP armours cannot be repaired, at all, ever.

Players have to pay a fee to be able to equip the armours. Once that fee has been paid, the armours become untradeable.

Killing another player wearing PvP armours will reward you with 80% of the fee they paid to unlock it.

The way it worked before was the killer would be rewarded with pure GP based on the items high alch value. This change means there is a gold sink rather then new gold being generated.

Hopefully this helps clear things up.

The Loot Key will give you the loot of another player you've killed. Whatever they were wearing and had in their inventory goes into this key.

The key is always lost on death and you cannot get anything from the key until you have gon to the bank. You can only hold a maximum of 5 keys at once.

Hope this helps clear things up :)

New Rewards

As a player who primarily enjoys pking and pvp activities I feel like this would be an excellent chance to show the pures / 45 defence build accounts a bit of love. Some slightly better, high price armour and / or weapons with slightly better stats than the current BIS gear would be great.
Many people didn't like corrupt weapons and armours before as they had the same stats as the full sets and only degraded faster but if you offered some BIS gear with only slightly better stats pkers would love this opportunity. Here are some ideas:

A corrupt rapier, 60 or 70 attack requirement with the same stats as a dscim or whip (with stab) but with a little more (+3) accuracy and lower defensive stats.
Wretched Short bow (short bow with no special attack but +100 range bonus) 80 range.
Elemental Staff (staff with same stats as mystic staves but can store all elemental runes for use (costs 5gp per rune stored))
Ghoulish Kilt (40 defence leg piece, same stats as adamant plate legs but with +1 strength)
Revenant Dragon-hide (dragon hide set with same stats as black dhide but -2 pray and +1% ranged damage on each piece).
Dark Blessing (can be used on robes of darkness to give a slight increase in magic accuracy as well as making them slightly transparent)
Lava Stone (unique item that when used (left click) breaks the user out of any entangle or stun spell they are currently in (2min cool-down)

Cosmetics would also be welcome. Really when it comes to pkers even a tiny upgrade to either gear or aesthetics would be greatly appreciated and as many pvp updates done make it through due to negative views on the pking community (sometimes rightfully so) leading to mass down voting on any pvp related content. I feel like the revenant caves should really have a large benifit all pkers, not just those with over 78 defence as a large majority of pkers atleast own one pking specific account with low defence.
Thanks for taking the time to read

Oh okay thanks for clarifying that and as someone involved in the clanning scene I absolutely love the idea of Revenant caves being added but Aren't you affraid that with the current mechanics of pvp armours it will ruin the singles community though?

Like pvp armours would be the new meta for 'max mage' bridding but its highly unlikely you'll ever make a profit concidering the costs of these armours and the fact that the money you make dropping someone for a set comes nowhere close to the cost of maintaining it. and this is assuming you would drop someone for max withing the hour which in itself isnt realistic.

I would rather see a system similar to the barrows armours where you would get the item in a degraded state and lose the entire fee on death rather than the other way around.
This would create a larger demand for these items and thus would keep a high price in the GE making killing revenants even more attractive and at the same time pking with these items can still be profitable and armours like bandos, karils, ahrims would hold their value in pvp.

Like I can already see Unique members swiping their credit cards each week in order to stay relevant and get some clips of juicy mystic kills.

I feel like the amulet will never be used because the risk massively outweighs the rewards. The idea is clever and cool, and similar to Dharok's set, but the way it is currently suggested to be implemented, you might add 4 or 5 to your max hit but increase your chances of dying from maybe 50% to 80-90%, and that type of benefit is woefully inadequate, especially if the necklace is an expensive drop. It would need to be your max hit by something more like 50% or 100% to truly justify the risk. I think something more like this would be the only way to make it reasonable:

90%+ HP : No boost
80%-90% HP: 1% boost
70%-80% HP: 4% boost
60%-70% HP: 8% boost
50%-60% HP: 15% boost
40%-50% HP: 25% boost
30%-40% HP: 37% boost
20%-30% HP: 52% boost
10%-20% HP: 72% boost
below 10% HP: 100% boost

This would still make it incredibly risky, within 1-2 hits of death to give the biggest benefit, but it'd also make ambushing and quick kills much more effective and potent if you can live on the razor's edge.

Also, it'd need to provide no boost in PvM situations.

But as it is, providing just a straight str boost, no one would ever use it.

Hello dear Jagex and the rest of the players.

I see a lot of haters posting out there, that seem to be angry with some content. If it does not affect you, or you do not understand the purpose of it, there is always 'Skip question', not only 'Yes/No'

Back to topic. Well, as I did agree to everything but PvP armor, I wouldn't mind if they came back with a slight change to it.
I saw a suggestion of turning it into degradeable, yet not to dust, or upgrade kits
I see a perfect scenario:
An upgrade kit, that would attach to any Armadyl/Bandos item, giving it some accuracy bonuses, but not damage, or even that, but just slight one. And then it degrades slowly. Once it degrades, it returns to simple Armadyl/Bandos item. Upgrade kits would be expensive due to making BIS items, and Armadyl/Bandos wouldn't lose value.
WIN/WIN
