This is about a minigame that became a skill: dungeoneering. Up until this game I still do not understand why it was made a skill, but alas. It is one of the things between me and my max cape and it has become more tedious than grinding.

Why so? Because the place is empty. You better hope that you have a team to do a few floors with because the times you'd walk in, ask for a floor and get a semi-instant invite is over. Decided that solo'ing it wasn't gonna cut due to bad exp/hr compared to large dungeons with "professional" keyers so I started buying floors... Yet people who do that stuff for you also need to wait for a team to assemble. At the moment there are 6 people in Daemonheim in the designated dungeoneering world. 6.

ED123 are also quite hard and also require a team so I'm quite literally boring myself to death, buying a minigame skill that wasn't supposed to be buyable and resetting+rushing some floors inbetween because someone at jagex decided that this minigame was not tedious enough already and required you to replay all floors even though nobody would want to do that and it was obvious from the start that these floors would be rushed.

Then the rewards, I'd reckon them a bit outdated, definitely now that we have tier 85 weaponry which is almost as cheap as a goblin mail.

There's just so much wrong with this minigame skill, and it being practically dead makes it even worse. It was a minigame skill that wasn't built to last. Maybe that is why jagex made it a skill, so that people would be obligated to keep playing it for quests, max cape etc...

Yeah, same with Slayer. Why make it as skill I don't understand.
I like slayer, but it doesn't need to be a skill.

Dungeoneering requires more skill than any other skill. The more skilful you are the more xp you get per hour

However it has become a daily skill instead of grinded out. But it is done alot its just more solo now.

Well that's the point I'm trying to make. You need a lot of other skills for it, without it being a skill in and of itself. Except for gaining exp, it has all the characteristics of a minigame.

i think you missunderstood what i said... skill as in being skilful not just standing at a bank. dg requires understanding, it requires skill to do not skills.... to do lol

so because it requires skill to do? ( im not talking cooking fm combat skill, im talking actual ability to do it)

its not a skill???

but if you are talking skill as in cooking fm etc. then all other skills go with others... mining smithing

wc fletch fm

so what?
200m all on 7/3/19

Point is that you don't have to fish while cooking etc. According to this logic, all minigames could be skills (stealing creation for example). Skills are the base. D&D's, minigames, etc... that's where the complexity comes in.
