There are many compalints that stone spirits are worthless or are not selling.
Equally there are many suggestions on how stone spirits can be made useful.

One aspect all these discussion are foregtting that mining is done for 2 purposes - getting ore and getting exp. Most people do it for getting exp and hardcore miner drop ore after mining. This means there is zero demand for getting double ore.
To fix issue for stone spirit, simply award double exp and no ore. Yes, zero ore and double exp.
This will make stone spirits useful and in demand.

One suggestion that came up. Do not use existing stone spirits just create new "exp spirits". I am sure this will be disappointment for those hoarding stone spirit but it will preserve the balance.

I was hoping to get support on converting double ore to double exp. This will make stone spirits useful as well as somewhat in demand.
Is it OP, I guess not as instead of giving double ore it is just granting double exp and no ore.
I hope more players will support the idea.

I honestly do not see why they should be broken for the sole players, which currently bother to use them - ones, that actually are interested in that extra ore for profit: Probably the best approach would be increased xp (something around 20 % maybe) and extra ore - that way they're interesting for every miner: no matter whether he's up to skilling or up making profit. Problem is you wouldn't want to use them if you're up to xp, since you don't get any extra xp, but are required to bank more often.

Maybe then also introduce some kind of smithing benefit (i.e. a bit of extra xp and starting with some progress) and those things would be interesting enough for them to use as well.

And of course - a couple of generic changes, that should be done to them on top of it:

- Allow them to be disassembled for a single spiritual part or imbued component each - both materials with a fairly limited amount of sources available right now. Higher levelled ones give less junk, but that should mostly help medium levelled ones (I doubt they would become so cheap players start disassembling necrite and higher levelled ones)
- Allow them to be alched for 80 % of the value of the fitting ore.
- Have monsters drop adequate spirits. As simple as that. If not every piece of content that granted runite ores and/or bars before were to award runite spirits even those would be worth more.
