I said something similar to "so clickbait titles get you banned and you have to appeal it later?" yet my post was hidden? If my post had misleading info, why not say why it was misleading and what is the correct info?
The person I was discussing said they got banned for their clickbait title so clearly my post is not as misleading as they think.

This account s my rsc account, the first account I made.
I don't play this account too much but I still log on a couple times a week. I still have bank and stuff...
I however have a many number of other accounts that I do play. Maxed main amoung the mix.
Just because I talk on the forums on this one that appears to have hardly played for years doesn't mean that I'm not up to date with the topics of the day. Yeah, I don't want to target accounts that haven't logged in to the game, because it disproportionately affects those who are innocent.whoever is humming the jaws theme is gonna get slapped
There's a lot of dissenting posts to my idea, so I won't quote them all.
A lot of people here have raised the issue of a grey area, particularly when facts mix with opinion. I can accept that moderation would not be the best course of action here.
But I feel that something has to be done about the more egregious scenarios. The kind where no reasonable person would deem it to be a matter of opinion.
Consider the following scenario:
Let's say I keep going around the forums insisting that Treasure Hunter does not exist in game. Yes, there's a Treasure Hunter tab and interface in-game. But I do not play the game, so I do not see it. Yes, there's a Treasure Hunter sub-forum. But I act as if the subforum does not exist, and I post frequently in other subforums mentioning that Treasure Hunter does not exist.
Let's say that I post on a Rant thread about microtransactions stating that microtransactions that give you an advantage in-game does not exist, because there is only Solomon's General Store, and there is no Treasure Hunter. And even though, on every thread that I post about Treasure Hunter, I attract replies telling me that Treasure Hunter does exist, that there is a subforum and that it exists in-game, I continue to post on any thread about MTX that Treasure Hunter is not in the game.
What happens then? I do not think it is right that such a person should not face repercussions for spraying such falsehoods throughout the forums.whoever is humming the jaws theme is gonna get slapped
I find it extremely discomforting that you are opposing my thread based on your personal grudge against me as opposed to the merits of my threads proposal.whoever is humming the jaws theme is gonna get slapped
DongáUáDeadsaid: You yourself SouthEaster have bluntly lied within these forums, more than one occasion. Not to do with gameplay, more on a personal level, but you have lied none the less.
i wish jagex would get rid of trolls and support thread owners so trolls stop destroying threads.
this idea is fantastic and will bring great benefit to these forums and you don't like it because of a grudge rather than the merits of the idea. some of us are genuinely concerned for the health of the forums and this suggestion is a clear improvement to the current state of things. in a way i understand if you actually believe it to be a bad idea since nobody would want to see their entire post history hidden outside of forum games.channel the power of negativity Your one stop shop for what you truly need
