SHITLOAD OF CONTENT SUGGESTIONS:

Saradomin/Guthix/Zamorak, as well as Armadyl/Zaros/Bandos-coloured metal armours in the following ones:
Bronze
Iron
Steel
Black
White (in this case, Saradomin-colored would be trimmed as blue)
Mithril
Adamant (currently, only Runite exists in game.)

Saradomin/Guthix/Zamorak, as well as Armadyl/Zaros/Bandos-coloured dragonhide armours, including d'hide coifs in the following ones:

Green D'hide
Blue D'hide
Red D'hide

Saradomin/Guthix/Zamorak, as well as Armadyl/Zaros/Bandos-coloured mystic robe sets

Amulet of Power(t)
Amulet of Defense(t)
Gilded (rune) Battleaxe
Gilded (rune) Longsword

Upgrade kits:
Upgrade kits for:
Air,Water,Earth,Fire battle/mystic staves.
Upgrade kits to change the black, mithril and adamant defenders to white, to match white/initiate/proselyte armour sets
Fire Cape/Infernal Cape visual upgrade kit to make it thicker/have trims/wings/whatever.
Skill cape trim re-color kit.
Skill cape hood re-color kit

Cape slot:

Additional contents to be added:
Initiate Kiteshield
Proselyte Kiteshield
Initiate Plateskirt
Magic longbow/comp bow imbue scroll

Mage Arena 1/2 extension:
Zaros/Bandos/Armadyl spells, capes, imbued capes.
Ability to auto-cast the spells with their own staves equipped.

Visual upgrade (kits):

Additional contents to add:

2 new grandmaster quests along with the ability to unlock blood/soul talismans and tiaras.

The current, AFK-able method of crafting bloods/souls greatly decreases the price of runes, not to mention, it also devalues the skill, so adding a way to craft those runes that's not an ODD-ONE-OUT is a MUST!
The current Blood/Soul altars could be changed to Random altars with the Lv90 one having higher chance to produce more valuable runes.
However, INSTEAD of giving a selection of runes, it would give a random type of a rune for the same batch of essense blocks.
The multiplier of course would also apply here.

As great of an update an expansion would be, we need to fix the issue with worthless rewards first.

Most TTrail rewards are currently worthless, only worth their high alch or less.

Perhaps we could adopt something similar to what RS3 does. Perhaps having an option to trade them in for points which can be redeemed for exclusive items would work? Maybe adding a spell to "extract" special crafting materials from TTrail items, and perhaps others that have lost value, could be a solution.

TTrails can feel rewarding again, especially when receiving TTrail items. Until then, I dont really think an update is necessary.

RE: rewards

I like the proposed new rewards, however, some of those rewards don't fit the overall theme of other clue scroll rewards. In particular, I take issue with the following items and propose an alternative to introduce these items into the game:

- Dragonhunter Crossbow Recolours (proposal: allow players to use KBD heads/Vorkath heads on the Crossbow)
- Sandwich Lady Outfit (proposal: rare reward from the Sandwich Lady random event)
- Gnome Scarf Recolours (proposal: rare reward from the Gnome Delivery minigame)
- Beekeeper Outfit (As above, this should be a reward from the Beekeeper random)
- Wieldable Balloon Animal (As above, should be a reward from the actual random event)

Really not a fan of the re-roll ability with clue scrolls. I believe it takes away from any incentive to train up your skills should you be given a difficult Sherlock clue, and especially caters to ironmen accounts who don't have specific items. It's the luck of the draw, and making that significantly easier is not something I am personally a fan of.
Agreed. Well said, Gurp!

And finally, congratulations on your new role, Mod Acorn. :)

I definitely agree with this!

also, please try and make some decent rewards and not something that will be worthless and just a meme item... There's so many of the current rewards that are just junk and no one is using them. I think it's important to think: "will people want/use these items" when creating the new rewards. Also PLEASE avoid adding any futuristic items

For the beginner clues I'd recommend:

Threaded Needle (A needle you can use thread on to store it in use for crafting) This will free up one inventory spot while crafting allowing to make more items per inventory in F2P while adding value to P2P as it will allow 9 D'hide bodies per inventory.

Also a very rare chance (like 3rd age rare) of an Amulet of Unlimited Power: A trimmed amulet of power with infinite teleports to the trail south of monastery (in between Barbarian Village and Falador), The crossroads south of Varrock, The Crossroads north-west of Port Sarim, and the Wilderness Spider Nest (north-east of Lava Dragons)

I think Xeric, Theatre of Blood and other high level rewards should be added as possible, very-rare rewards from treasure trails. Currently, you only have the 3rd Age equipment. That list should be expanded to included items such as the dragon hunter crossbow, dragon warhammer, rapier, etc.

Imagine doing a treasure hunt in real life, and you get to a point where you cannot progress any further. Instead of figuring out how to overcome the obstacle, you decide to ignore it because you are too lazy. But you still somehow manage to find the treasure anyways.

Doesn't anybody see what is wrong with that? Treasure trails are supposed to push you to level up and to gain progress on your account. You can't enjoy the rewards if you didn't put a full 100% into it.
I'm genuinely upset here. Re-rolling should not even be up for discussion.

Anyways
New clue rewards: Yes
New clue steps: Yes
F2P clues: Yes
Stackable clues: Sure
Mimic boss: Sure
Re-textured clue scrolls: Just do a light re-color the current design to match it's tier (like how geodes/bottles/nests have colors).

New rewards: Yes
Reroll steps: No
Beginner clues: Sure
Clue stacks: Yes
Mimic Boss Yes

Bandos armor ornament kit: (Bandos chestplate orn) Adds a dark grey/blackish plating to the neckguard, and arms concealing the flesh. Elbows have spikes (3 small ones on right elbow and 1 big one on left elbow) armor overall recoloured to a dark grey/blackish to match guardian boots. (Bandos tasset orn) Adds similar color change aswell as plated leggings with spiked kneecaps (both with 3 small spikes) and a thick blackish belt with several rows of studs and a big buckle with either a face of an animal with colored eyes or a bandos symbol logo. This together with guardian boots would make you look like some wicked war god.

Mimic boss pet: Simple, a mini mimic pet that would have a chance to drop when defeating the mimic boss, just give it a cute name :P

Also all for the items mentioned in the blog: Wolf mask <-- favorite vanity item in old rs2, Wolf cloak, Bob staff, gilded hide, recolours, etc. Maybe consider making some kind of ninja outfit to go with the double sai.

Alright I got no more suggestions as many of them before mine as so good
