Old versions are generally better when it comes to pretty much anything, I find.

The only way I was able to continue playing once I received this message originaly, was tobookmark the ‘oldversions’ site addy they gave to me and slways log in from there’s by downloading my client from there.

I say oringinaly as I used to have to use the oldest version that was RS3 but then that broke (on the lowest gtaphics setting , that I set manually ‘custom’ once I got into the game). Then that broke too and I could no longer get it to work anyway I tryed. So went back to using the old versions (but yhe top choice on the page which says DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION. Then once that is don’e clicking on the play button in the browser window.

It’s now the only way I can play from my old lap top.

But the last way I also must manually go in and choose my graphics I always use custom first cause it’s more detailed. Then I turn nearl alllike flickering shadows custom cursors and ground decorations etc like that must be turned off or you’ll be really slow. And My comp is slow even when graphics are as low as you go.lol.

Updating your graphics driver is usually the fix for the "Heap has been corrupted" error. But if that doesn't work, running the nxt client on compatibility mode as mentioned before should work.

The old Java client should work as you mentioned. But if you wanted to get the nxt client working and you're having difficulty updating the graphics driver, I'd recommend using IObit Driver Booster Free to try to get the latest WHQL driver updates. Ref: https://www.iobit.com/en/driver-booster.php

My Issues became worse AFTER I Uninstalled (clearing cache)... fresh download and reinstall.

Have gotten at least 2 different Error Codes.
