As I've already mentioned this before over the forum, I'll keep this one short. It's been near 8 years that I've had a recurring membership and I still have yet to get my 7-year loyalty crown. It will be 8 Years this August.

Why haven't I gotten it yet? Could it be because I've purchased the premier club membership and previous summer membership?

Crowns work off years since you signed up to the Loyalty Points program. For example, LP was released in May 2011, but I didn't manually sign up until September which means I get my crown in September rather than May, or the game backdating it to my December 2010 continuous membership. As such, my display reckons I'm at 8 and a half years loyalty, but the LP counts me at just under 8, so I only have year 7 crown. You could be in a similar setup but a year behind me.

At some point, the LP signup was made automatic and crowns will work from this date OR your manual signup date whichever is earlier. I couldn't find the date it became automatic though. Depending on when that was, it's possible you're only at year 6, waiting for year 7.

That, or you broke your chain between years 6 and 7 which affected the crowns but not the display date. I believe the display date does allow for a two week break, but the crowns may or may not. 'Special' membership doesn't affect them though, but if there was say a small gap between that ending and you making a manual membership payment, if automatic recurring wasn't set up could've broken it.

Also, it has been a long time since I looked into this stuff, so I might have minor errors but it's correct as far as I know and should at least give a reasonably correct response.
If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than you are now.

I appreciate the response, but I've been a recurring member ever since I could remember. I figured it'd stop on its own after purchasing the premier membership, but based on my bank statements, I'm still a recurring member. Though like you said, there could have been a time where a payment didn't go through as you had mentioned with the gap.

Either way, it's not a huge deal; I just don't like feeling as though I won't be getting anymore crowns.

Argh, tell me about it.

I lost membership for two hours back in late 2015 and they resetted my membership counter because of it...
