What's happening? :D

A player named Tz1 is being unfairly muted and suppressed because he exposed Moderator's corrupt ways and it seems the rest of the staff are tying to hide the corruption. Suspicious stuff.

Tz1 was warned several times and given the proper channels to report their issue, and chose instead to ignore those warnings and break the rules several more times. The user was given multiple chances to act within the rules and refused.

Again, if anyone has any issues with moderation, as was stated before, please take them to the Moderation Review thread, and do not make threads about it in general or take over other threads for this purpose.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter, and we now return to our regularly scheduled Chat Lounge programming.

Just saw fantastic beasts the crimes of grindelwald. It was decent but I won't watch again. The whole movie was just a set up for the remaining 3 movies unfortunately.

I dont' get why they put Johnny Depp in the movie - I love the guy, I love his acting but that put me off going to see the movie, it really did. But my kids may want to see it?? But they can go on there own and save me $11NZ.

I was so disappointed they kept him cast for the new one.

Seeing Jonny Depp in a film totally takes me out of it because I'm just like, "Well yep, that's Mr. Depp, acting. Yep."

What's your favorite thing about Thanksgiving? Food related. :P

GRAVY

For me it was the green bean casseroll. My mom makes a really good dish of that.

This year we’re just going simple and making a pizza from scratch rather than go all out for a few of us since big family meals no longer happen due to how spread out people are now with life and whatnot.

Last year when it was just myself and my mother for Thanksgiving (all the other siblings couldn't get home and my Father was out at sea) we did this and made 2 delicious gigantic pizzas and an order of garlic fingers, which are a kind of East Cost Canadian infamous staple... so delicious...

@Vlumondoxa, heres some quest motivation:

The quest point reward shop near Varrock lode will provide you with magical dice which gives tons of cash and clue scroll rewards. I only found out about this a few weeks back and was shocked to hear that I had 15m+ worth of GP/items just sitting there waiting for me to claim them.

You get these rewards every 25 QP, so at 25, 50, 75, and so on, until you hit 400 QP.

Whoa, thanks for the tipoff!

You're lying aren't you? If not, give me a picture of the shop.

CM Brandon is far too serious about RS to joke about this sort of thing ;)

It's my off day and I'm thinking where to go. I can't stay at home all day long. I'm the active type lol.

Have to buy bf a new pair of shoes too. He's like my old pair still good all the time lol

I can relate. I wear my shoes to the point where they don't function as shoes anymore before I'll considering buying new ones, hahaha.

Whiskey, lemon juice, hot water and a drip of honey.

It won't cure you but .... you won't care :D

Add a bit of ginger and not only will it be even tastier, but it might help make you better ;)

For real though, when I'm sick my go-to regimen is a lot of ginger and garlic, a lot of tea, and a lottttt of water.

Mangelwurzel... I had to look that up... I was like "no way that's real"... but so it is! It's a beet.

Then I started looking up funny fruit/veggie names that didn't sound real. I came across puhala. It's a fruit. It's also known as pandanus fruit.

It comes in all kinds of varieties, and I think it has to be some of the coolest looking fruit ever:

And as always google thought I needed to see something like this:

Whoa, this looks otherworldly - I wonder how it tastes?

I haven't found a definitive answer about how it tastes, but from what I gather, it tastes sweet, something like "sugarcane mixed with mango". Really stringy and fibrous.

Yeah I feel like I would really enjoy this. Time to scour the internet for rare produce exporters!

It would be kind of cool if wearing capes regularly IRL was normal, just imagine going to the store and seeing random people in capes simply minding their business buying their bread... what a sight.

I knew a few people in high school who would wear capes but, uh, yeah it definitely was not treated as normal, sadly.

Capes should totally be a more normally accepted form of garment though!
I'm all for caped grocery shopping - would make it less boring :P

I'm in the same boat here, ever since my laptop got destroyed on my vacation I've been computerless and it's been quite the drag.

Hope the new one treats you well :)

I'm not sure what's worse: the fact that there's 7 toppings on that pizza or the fact that 1 of the toppings is pineapple. :P

It's for sure the pineapple :P
Pineapple on pizza? No pizza should suffer such atrocities.

I wholeheartedly agree here, but be careful, the staunch pineapple pizza supporters will come out of the woodwork soon enough and wreak havoc on you!

You should visit the Netherlands, we've houses!

Actually I lived in Enschede in the Netherlands for about 6 months from 2016-2017! Lovely country, and I enjoyed the food immensely! :D

There was a mayor near me that felt their salary wasn't up to scratch for the minimal work they did. So they opted to giving the mayor's position a pay raise that quadrupled their annual salary. Ironically it would take effect at the start of the next term.

One of the constituents was peeved at the fact that they gave themselves a bump in pay and ran against them. The mayor lost and the chap that was peeved off is now drawing a nice 6 figure salary for as he put it doing nothing.

Now that is some serious poetic justice.

Sadly no!

However, because of your post about Pimms I am going to have to stop at a shop on my way home from work tonight and pick some up... it's been ages since I've had Pimms, and you're right in that it's a spectacular summertime drink.

I had some tasty ramen yesterday. Today I think oh I should have taken a pic and put it on the ramen thread.

We had thunderstorms this morning, which I'd hope would drop the temp. Nope and now super muggy like skeeters buzzing about muggy.

Ugh, that's what the weather's like here at the moment. I'm so very thankful for the powerful AC we have in the office, but my apartment's a different story.

Also you get a pass this time, but next time I demand pictures :P

Time to get some serious papercut-proof gloves, Twillow!

https://www.amazon.com/Resistant-FORTEM-Protection-Certified-Cutting/dp/B01DUZZPG0?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_6

Those MIGHT be overkill, but one can never be too careful with the egregiously painful papercut.

Honestly I was gifted a pair as a joke by my girlfriend, as I have a nasty habit of letting the kitchen knives take a bite out of me, but they're honestly extremely handy (pun intended!) and my hands are much less cut up these days haha.

In all honesty yeah, I forgot they were even making this movie, and seeing the trailer I was just like "wow, I wish I could forget again."
