Prif Gem Rocks no Onyx

This is a very unfortunate change. These rocks have now become an incredibly weak source of income in comparison to most ores, and even ores similar to their own level.

Entire REMOVAL of the Onyx without some sort of replacement, whether it be a nerfed replacement or a major change to the gem drop calculation, basically kills the rocks.

I could understand for NORMAL accounts, limiting the drops and such. However there are many ironman players who are disgruntled at this change as well, as it makes it so you need to PVM or get a lucky geode to pull an Onyx now. By the way, gem rocks don't drop geodes.


A few suggestions;
1. Onyx dust
2. New geode type with high drop chance for Onyx.
3. New type of gem for alchemy (nearly the same price as uncut onyx)
4. Different types of gem shards that can be alched for different values, with no other purpose.

Total REMOVAL is such a shortsighted decision.

As a comparison to what they removed.

If I remove ALL my onyx that I've mined in the past TWO WEEKS, I have less than 75m in money. Which is nearly 8-10 hours a day in mining, albeit afk mining mostly, but mining nonetheless. Adding the 130 onyx back into the pile, and I've got a bit over 200m worth of gems, that I will be refusing to sell.

That's OVER a 150% loss of income, if I were to stay at these rocks. (-66%~)

I've simply moved to Ani for now, as I refuse to get ~450k an hour for mining gems, when I can just smash open geodes for more from ani/banite.

the difference is, pvmers cry when things are unbalanced, and try to get them balanced again

skillers, on the other hand, like things unbalanced, because they like being able to earn as much as pvmers without having to;

1. pay for supplies
2. risk anything
3. learn anything
4. do anything
5. have any kind of real life skill


You have some genuine issues understanding what REAL LIFE skill is, if you think THAT can be associated with PvM.

If you want some tough PvM, play the Dark Souls series. Better yet, play Monster Hunter World. Now that's some interesting reactionary gameplay for both games, mixed with a mess of item management and RPG elements.

Does this apply to the real world even though it requires a faster set of reactionary muscle twitches? No. Not unless you're into competitive games for an actual income.
