Title says it. After several unsuccessful tries I got my first BGH kill only to find myself locked out of that creature (lowest Rex) for an hour. This seems rather unnecessary, as the exp drop was only like 12k (with bonus xp).

Why so long lock out this is stupid, No I haven't got the hang of it yet but as it's a instance do not understand why the lockout. No point moving on when I can't even do lowest 1 and need the meat for miniquest!

To be honest I think it should be more like 20 minutes. Yet again still figuring stuff out about the update, attempting to figure it all out still. I did fail my first time hunting though. I didn't realize you could hide in the tall grass & didn't really know anything about it.

They hyped this update as basically “boss fights for skillers,” but combat bosses can be farmed without any restrictions, they even allow instances to force faster spawns and give better xp and gp. The first time going through BGH getting the kill was frustrating,, but I was looking forward to trying again right away to work on improving my “kill time.” I don’t see any reason to delay when you can kill again, other than as a consequence for failing (liking dying in PVM) but honesty I think I would prefer if the consequence of failure was getting killed rather than getting locked out of the content for an hour.

I guess the lockout is to avoid people collecting logs/vines failing on purpose before attempting the real kill dodging the goddamn thing. I did manage to get a few dozens kills, but when 2+ of them spawn building the central trap is pretty much impossible.

The fact that they move at 2tile/sec, just like run speed, means that if you end up in the circle you CANNOT escape unless you use an ability, which is completely stupid imo, considering of frigging huge the spook radius is.
