- There is a massive amount of gold being created everyday from drops and subscriptions
- Players are maxing skills almost hourly
- New players are handicapped by older players by 15 years in some cases
- Skills are going up to 120 from 99 with no extra features/training methods and a lot of players have already accomplished this.

I have complete faith in RS3 as the invention skill was introduced properly right when inflation of items were flooding the grand exchange.

Here is an impossible suggestion that will probably be ignored as I am asking way too much..... maybe RuneScape 3 needs to have the 99 - 120 content filled in. Not fair to the high rollers but everyone else would benefit from this.

I'd also enjoy a quote from Admin about RuneScape 4. :D

Or how about we slow down double exp and treasure hunter promotions so 99 actually takes some time to achieve. There are millions of ideas on how to improve existing skills, add new skills, or add new content. But instead we get solak, that nobody asked for, we get patch notes as updates 90% of the time, with more bugs being added, we get constant MTX fest and we get updates that we want shelved.

It’s not that the game is becoming easier, The problem is that lack of quality updates drives players away, which creates more dead content and drives even more players away. Then we get into a situation where something like a boss release (e.g. solak) can’t be done by majority of rs, because it’s catered to select few. So instead of excitement, players just ignore it and continue on their pointless grind for 120 skills or 200m xp.

Even if they did, 99s would probably take the same amount of time.

I mean with all the new methods out there, th is probably one of the least impactful.

There are a lot of things to do without even have gp or skill levels required.

There are plenty of achievements.

There are ironmen who can't even care about gp and the economy.

There are new content like quests that has noobie or even absolutely no requirements like the Curse of the Black Stone or events like the past Halloween Event.

When inflation hit RS3 a couple of years ago, the game had no problem. Now RS3 is and has been deflating for almost 2 years. Obviously, there are even less problems with the accumulation of gp in the game now. :D

Removing dxp weekends and Treasure Hunter are going to be vital for the game's long term survival, but it's not enough on its own; the game needs rebalancing overall, because some methods are just outright broken exp/hour. Many dailies for example are both too powerful and unhealthy, by forcing the player to do them every single day or miss out on a lot of exp; either removing their daily restriction and rebalancing the exp, or just removing them, would make things a lot better. > )

Agreed with the rest though.

So I only want to talk about the experience required to get 99, 120, or even max.

Now, a decade ago or even in OSRS players only required about 300,000,000 total xp to max (23 skills multiplied by ~13m xp). In RS3, players need a whopping 378,000,000 xp to max (26 skills multiplied by ~13m xp plus invention level 99 being ~40m xp). That is about 30% more xp required to get max. If we want to find the xp required to get level 120 in skills that go to 120 you're looking at over 500,000,000 total xp! 66% more xp than what was required a decade ago or in OSRS.

Maxing a skill is by no means easy and can take days or even weeks of playtime to get it to 99 or 120. RS3 needs faster ways to earn xp because there is so much more xp needed to max skills and get 120's.

I'm not saying the current system is perfect but it is by no means broken.

Also, please stop complaining about TH. The few tiddly winks of xp you get per day is nothing. If you get maybe 20k bonus xp per day for a week you're looking at 140k free xp per week! 140,000 free xp out of the 500,000,000 you need to max. TH is by no means perfect but it really isn't a problem. I'm not going to get into it anymore than that.

Wrap up:
Don't just look at xp rates. Look at how much xp you actually need to max/comp. The rates are not too broken. Yes, some skills are always going to be easy to train buy implying that players can pump out 99's with a tad bit of effort is not true.

Bonus:
Don't just say something is broken. Provide clear examples because I am seeing a lot a vague "many dailies are broken" or "xp rates per hour are too high" which are not easy to respond to (not that I'm going to respond to anything). Also try to provide a solution. Don't just half ass a response or agree blindly.
