It seams as if they are just replaying an old legit Runescape stream and added a text overlay and their own link. They have the vid playing on loop it seems. I think i may have made a huge mistake putting my log in info in the site =[

Fake. They are twitch scams to steal accounts.

1st: >Securing your computer<

Scan for keyloggers and malware before you try to change any info. You should change whatever info you typed in from a clean device.

There's a hijacked account page if they are currently on your account: >Hijacked account<

Make sure you change info from a clean computer or you would be doing more damage if you have a keylogger on due to their fake links.

I'd change my bank pin, ingame password, and email asap from a clean computer if I were you.

Im sure i dont have a keylogger, i havent downloaded anything but i did put in my password. i dont have a bank pin but it asked for my activation code and i dont think they can take that kuz its randomly generated. i will change my PW on a separate device and still do the scan though. i saw 2400+ ppl in their chat so i hope ppl see this post.

I'm pretty sure they use viewbots on twitch to make it look like a lot are watching, think that bumps them up on the twitch channels. You can report those fake channels on twitch if I recall.

There was an official rs tipoff email for reporting scams or fake sites I think, but forgot what it was.

Just bookmark the real rs website and ignore people/links telling you to do x for ingame stuff like modship, money, items, dxp etc. Just be skeptical of every offer to do so.

If you changed your info from a clean computer you should be ok. As long as your email is secured they shouldn't get past the auth. Use the email provider 2 step authentication, the phone code access via text and such, as that would block people from getting on your email. I think just about every email provider has that extra security option by now.

Is anyone aware that a twitch channel by the name of [Edited] is advertising a Runescape 2x event. You go to their link and put your info in then it just goes to the forumn. Sadly i didnt notice they had 0 followers and chat was subscribers only and i put my info in. Is this a fake or is this real? there are thousands of ppl watching the stream so this could be a HUGE issue. You cant even subscribe to them to chat in their chat box. This seems like a freshly made account just to phish for log in info. i am a little worried my account will be hacked but i do have the authentication activated. Can we get a mod or admin on this?

Wolfblue42 is correct. that would be a fake offer. OSRS does not have 2xp events and if they did, just as in RS3 it would be available to all, rather than require players to sign up for it.

Please do report that channel to Twitch. They are very good at taking phishing streams down quite quickly.
