F2P QoL updates ( PvP+Skill )



SKILL....


Reduced Yew tree amounts on F2P worlds that aren't skill total...
Increased Yew tree's placed on both F2P skill total worlds ...only 1 or 2 Yew tree's per spot.....

Flesh-crawlers middle room increased in size for both F2P skill total worlds.
Security of stronghold lvl 2,3 & 4 made unavailable unless on a F2P skill total world or future F2P PvP world.

1 F2P PvP world.....would have increased Yew tree's place.

Al-kharid mine to have a reduction of 1 adamantite rock on all worlds except skill total worlds + future PvP world.
Increase of 1 adamantite rock on both F2P skill total worlds....

Karamja dock closed except for Both F2P skill total worlds & future PvP world.Wilderness would still offer a place
to catch lobster's & swordfish....

F2P Mining guild closed off unless on a F2P skill total world or future F2P PvP world.

PvP.....


Giants placed around the rune rocks & in the BLK Fortress....groups of 3....skill total & Pking worlds...308 / 316.

10-sec teleport timer added to both pking worlds 308 & 316......could be extended further.

I would like to see the
*Rune Dagger*
have it's attack speed increased from
2.4 sec to 1.8 sec in order to better compete with the Range to R2h combat.....

Fire blast spell damage increase + 3-4 in F2P PvP only in single combat zone in the wilderness when
cast on another player not Npc.

Let staffs remember the last spell / defence settings you configured when switching to R2H or Giant Club.....

Many F2P PvPer's have noticed the amount of 85-99 def / 85-99 range that sit out above edge.

These are usually owned by a player who also has a 1 def pure or a 60 attack pure that only fights No-armour.

The problem lies if you attack one of these pure's without asking permission....I mean they stand there in full rune with a skull but if you don't ask or go no armour it's now considered "Rushing"............

Once you have attacked one of these pure's there will always be one of their friends close by who will begin attacking you....They switch the protect prays on & eat to full HP after any damage.


The real problem lies in the amount of "Attack Bonus" rune armour still provides...It's 24 atm for wearing full rune with a maple short bow.......


I believe a Higher Negative bonus would be the solution to this epidemic.....I believe wearing full rune , range should offer a - 33 bonus to render armour useless for rangers.......

Ranger's in medieval times were known for the light & nimble agility...they never wore heavy clunky armour...it would affect their aim..Let alone how would you draw back on a bow wearing full plate armour.......?

Ranger's were known to wear light cloth like material & to engage in combat only as a last resort with a dagger......

Please a higher negative bonus for rangers wearing armour other than dragon-hide......
But an update for the dagger's would counteract any loss the rangers would encounter.

It's crushing to spend months , if not years on a account only to be bullied out by another build that has no purpose other than to kill your spirit.......Please help avoid more of this.

If you were unable to use a bow whilst wearing any armour that isn't dragon-hide would solve this problem.

these tanks are made for one reason. to combat 1def pures.
i know it, you know it.

i will support you in raising the negative range bonus for melee armor
if we also make it so that all weapons need defence level of their tier. :D

F2P battle mage gear will be required to combat the raggers that are ruining F2P wilderness...

Range has dragon hide at 40 def.....
Melee has Rune armour at 40 def.....

Magic has nothing...........

40 def will be required to wear the battle mage gear....

Just as the Hill Giant Club has the same stats as a R2H , besides the crush bonus......The Hill Giant Battle-Axe would have the same stats as a rune battle axe with the crush bonus........

Would be wield-able with a shield & added to Obor's drop list with a higher chance than the Giant Hill Club that exist already.

I love to PvP above edgenville.....My only problem is after each fight , I need to die in order to recharge my 13 prayer....
At the moment , I can either suicide on another player & waste their food supplies , or I can suicide on 1 of the 4 guards at edgenville...
I have the edgenville respawn ( cost 5 mill )....So dying after each fight feels appropriate for me on F2P.

My solution is to introduce a "Death-Cake" to F2P..... This cake would be able to be eaten in 3 clicks just like any other cake but each piece of cake would cause the player to lose 5 hp.

The death cake would be just like a normal cake to make with a few key exceptions......

First of all the "Death-Cake" could only be cooked in the cooking guild whilst wearing a
golden chefs hat
& also a
golden apron
( to protect the player from the poison ).Also
golden gloves
.....

84 cooking would also be a requirement for the "Death-Cake".

The poison would be different from the poison from "Ernest the Chicken" quest & would only be located in the
Wilderness
at the "
Black Knights Fortress
" ...Located here...

I believe the requirement to wear the Golden chefs hat , apron & gloves in order to cook the cake will be a great improvement to the practicality of the clue scrolls rewards of P2P....Whilst giving the fear to bot users of losing their golden items if banned....

Death is an under-used mechanic of the game which I believe could have new life breathed into it.....

The usual way most F2P PvPers pk above Edgenville ( 1 v 1 ) is for both parties to take damage to around 30 hp before they start eating....This is know as "Not safing".........Whilst this is not enforced it is embraced by about 95% for the PvP single zone population.......

My proposition for F2P PvP single zone is to enforce a combat mechanic that does not allow either player engaged in a fight in a single zone area to be able to eat unless their under 32 hitpoints....
This means both players fight would keep taking damage for the start of the fight without being able to eat.

A cool-down timer would need to be added , so whilst one player may be under 32hp & able to eat the cool-down timer on the other player which is 43 hp is not able to eat between the "Tic" it takes for the first player to eat....

This cool-down timer would be automatically removed if either opponent is KO-ed , too prevent being PJ-ed & not being able to eat.

If all of the Wilderness on 308 & 318 was converted to single zone combat , No multi-combat would be allowed on either of these servers in the wilderness.....

Pros**

- Would make it harder to rag in PvP.
- Wilderness clan fights on these servers I believe would become alot more epic. Now clans would have to spread out & engage in 1 v 1 fights against other clans. This would allow for longer clan fights.
- Skillers would have a better opportunity to avoid clan deaths. ( As only fighting/running away 1 v 1 ).
-Bounty Hunters would have less of an ordeal of having to deal with a clan when searching for their opponent.

Cons**

- Some players may not like the change , but most aspects of both of these servers is 1 v 1 PvP.
- Clans may not welcome the change , but I believe that clan pking needs to be mixed up a bit , instead 30 heads following 1 leader , then spam clicking on another clan doing the exact same thing.

Protection Prayer Flicking

Protection Prayers are great for quests I guess & PvP in multi zones...But they're being abused in 1 v 1 PvP......

My suggestion is to add a delay timer of 1.7 seconds each time the protection prayer is turned on to help avoid this abuse.....

Protection Prayers flicking have become a big problem in L.M.S aswell , I think this would be a great solution for that side of the game too.

I believe this could be new big thing for PvP.....Now PKers would have the ability to

for mages who wish to stay low lvl....

for anti-raggers especially those in the mid 50-60 combat range....Now PKers would be able to make accounts that have high attack whilst staying at a low lvl to combat these high defence raggers.

Ability to make a low lvl Pker & hunt the millions of the arrow / fish collectors that run around above edge on pk servers.

Ability for accounts made with low HP to be able to stay low HP....(PC pures)

I know P2P pures would have an unfair advantage over F2P made pures , so I also propose that a

be added that when killed offers no HP exp given when killed.

would be needed.

The
Multiplayer Tele-Block
would work in the same manner as Ice-Barrage does with a 3 x 3 square being targeted around the selected enemy.

Most F2P clans all play follow the leader....1 leader with 50 heads behind following.....With the addition of the new spell Multiplayer Tele-Block , the entire clan could be tele-blocked allowing for a full blown war to occur.

I also believe a counter should be added for tele-block requiring a high lvl magic spell to counter its affects.
