I have 80 million Woodcutting XP and 200 million Fishing XP with 2277 total.

If this happens, I quit.

Didn't you nubnubs say the same shit about the gay pride event? This would bring our community together and no one would quit in the end.

No. This is even worse than gay pride.

How so? You still have yet to give a reason.

Despite my own private views, I do not think this is something beneficial for the game at this time. In a world heavily dominated by politics, I often find comfort in escaping the political arena by playing OSRS. Depending on where you live and how you engage with others, politics can be a daily conversation or battle. I also am fearful that, given the polarization of many people (particularly in my part of the world) as a result of these politically-fueled conversations, implementing such an event would do the same here.

Let me also be clear that I would fully support a feminist-minded event should Jagex ever decide to pursue it. I was very excited to see the Pride event implemented. I think there exists a multitude of avenues to be involved in both the LGBT and feminist movements, but I am just not currently of the persuasion that OSRS is one of them.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Could you explain how females existing is political? Or how oppression of females having existed and continuing to exist is political?

Hey,

Simply put, I don't think our existing is political. I do, however, believe there are people who are quick to equate the two, which makes for an interesting dialogue. Many people did the same with the Pride event-- and I suspect they would do the same with this type of event.
