So, if anyone's won some of this stuff, the colors aren't consistent. All the sets except Ahrim have a white trim, but the Ahrim set has a sorta... Greenish tinted white trim. I personally think they'd look nice to mix and match if you owned pieces of different sets (which most people probably will, as I cant imagine many people owning a full set of any of them), but as is you can't really do that with Ahrim's pieces without it looking naff. Was this a mistake??

Also, was there a particular reason the rest of the set's colors were left alone? All other lucky items are faded, but lucky barrows just has solid white trim to it. That was probably intentional, but my 2 cents is that they'd look nicer faded like the rest, even if the trim remains.

Hey. Noone seems to be interested in answering..so I'll try.

I don't see any white trim on any of my barrow sets?? There is a green tint on the Ahrim staff though. Perhaps it's because I am using low detail.

Care to share a picture? Perhaps it would be clearer..

This is my character wearing the lucky Ahrim hood, lucky Dharok platebody, and lucky Ahrim robeskirt. As you can see, particularly at the waist where the two "trims" are almost touching, Ahrim's is a different color. I put squares of both colors to the bottom right side by side so you can check.

From that picture, the hood and robeskirt have a light green trim and the body has a light pink trim. I personally don't care for either, but give a slight edge to the green. Do you have a picture of the faded look you mentioned? Generally speaking, I think they should be uniform in trim one way/color or the other. Here's normal and lucky Armadyl GWD armor side by side. As you can see, lucky Armadyl isn't "trimmed" like the lucky barrows, but rather a different color palette that's kind of faded and dull-er in appearance.

This was previously the case for most lucky equipment, other than lucky chaotics which were black versions of regular white chaotics (though I kind of suspect they were made black because its harder to make white/grey weapons look distinct just by fading them). I guess that means that not all lucky stuff has to be the same look, but the lucky barrows is kinda... Well, I don't think it looks good, but I've seen people who say they like the "Barrows (t)" look, so I mainly wanted the trim to just be consistent.

All the sets except Ahrim's have the pink tinted white. Only Ahrim's is different.

EDIT: What I was hoping the set would look like was this, which I think looks a lot nicer.

It was literally just turning down the saturation on yellow and green on the textures, so it's not a massive job. Still, I understand that Jagex may not want to change it just to look a little more pleasing to my tastes, because who knows, maybe players do like the current look better.

Though they did change the colors of the lucky spirit shields back when they were out, so it's not unprecedented. But again, my main point is that they should at least look consistent.

Is there any way I could get a reply from someone on the live events team about why this set is like this? Really all I wanna know honestly. Figured one of them might see this since this is their forum and all, but eh.
