This is ruining the DMM tournament, usually it would be 1500+ players online for the tournament at all times but since 50% of them are alts ( Accounts that are secondary used by other players ) People just use them as side missions for themselves. So instead of having to bank, you can bring you mule to do it for you (Mika) Or you can hold all your stuff on this said Alt and use it in non dangerous but still not a safe zone area so techincally its not a mule. (b0aty)
I think Alts in the tournament and in seasonals if able, to be bannable.
Every tournament i have gone into there is a level 10 camping every Desert treasure boss to see where you are, they have alts scouting areas for them, it totally ruins the element of surprise and gives a lot of other people to not have a chance. You should only be able to enter into this tournament once, not have 2 accounts. That is just ridiculous. Even i have had a scout before? Its not a mule its a scout, Please Jagex take this into consideration.

100% agree, why Jatex say you have the top 2000 players going to tournament when this is a lie, because its not 2000 its like 750 people qualifying on 2 or 3 accounts.Because some people are qualifying 2 or 3 alts to boost there chances and keep others out of it, this causes clans to straight up control certain areas on the one world tourney . If anyone has seen any streamer later they'd know that they use Alts to either scout like you said, or like *Solo mission* lock down a piece of content *that being demonic gorillas from MM2*. It is cheating to a degree that should be a straight up DQ from the tournament along with the excessive amount of X-Logging which should fall under using game mechanics to get a unfair advantage. It is sad to see Tournaments showing who is the best player, but the players that can use dirty underhanded tactics to get a unfair lead and win. Back on to Streamers, how's it fair to have 10 people feeding one dude with "donations" when the normal player cant compete, people had a VLS and barrage day 2 because of this.

Yeah it is pretty unfair to say no mules but then we see active players using the multiple accounts method to have 20+ safe deposit box items for just one main account.

How is that not cheating?

And what I also don't get is how it is acceptable for someone to even be logged into more than one account at a time. I thought the tournament rules followed the game rules, which includes multi-logging or maybe I am mistaken.

I came on here to make the same post haha. It's completely unfair to the people playing on their own. The people with alts making money can get ahead of single players very quickly. If you run 3 accounts through the security stronghold you get 30k instead of 10k straight away. If they collect you ores while you smith them you can get a high smithing level faster. If they cut you logs you can fletch the top tier bows first. You could use them to help protect your main at slayer areas. The list is endless.

As you said its like 650 people qualifying with 3 accounts each instead of the top 2k and some of them just use their alts in the very beginning then dump them wasting a spot someone else could have taken.

I agree it should be one account per person.

I think there’s already a rule against alts? And they’re already dealing with them? If I’m mistaken englighten me. I know that they have moderated this in previous seasons. And tournaments but as to my knowledge it’s not something that’s easy to moderate EX MAYHEM MAKERS GENERAL.

Alts are not bannable , Mules are. Mules are someone who never leaves a safe zone , alts are an account that still holds wealth but doesnt just sit in a safe zone. he just makes thing easier for yourself by either collecting as you produce , scouting areas for easy access..... I really think jagex has to ban alts, just ask any of the streamers they have all brang it up. Saying on how they need there alt. B0aty literally used and alt this tournament on stream and he said he is only doing it to prove a point.

Yes they need to enforce this rule. Every single one of my friends has a mule on sdmm and tournys and they all use some type of stupid explanation for how its "technically not a mule". There is no such thing as an alt that is not a mule if they interact in ANY way especially trading wealth back and forth.... I know its hard for yagex to enforce this rule because; rarely, there are legitimately 2 siblings playing sdmm together or some shit. But ffs literally everyone I know muling is open about it in game and can easily be reported and banned from seasonals if someone cared enough to take time to look at those sdmm reports.
