Your account has been probably been compromised, and someone has logged in and stolen them.

You're not going to get them back, but you should check in on the Account Help board for guidance in securing your account and making it safe so that doesn't happen again.

You should also consider the possibility that this can often indicate the possibility of malware or such on your machine, or the possibility you've fallen for some kind of social engineering and given up sensitive details like bank cards or passwords.

Hi Deathscy29.

I'm one of the official Community Helpers, and I've moved your thread to the Community Led Account Help forum where it will be easier to get the advice you need.

First of all, please secure your PC, email and Runescape accounts using the advice here:
Security Help
Keeping your email secure

I'm afraid Jagex do not return items lost to hijackers. That policy, and the reasons behind it are explained here:

There are money-making guides on the Wikis to help you rebuild:

my account has been secured with the dual authentication and the Authy app. when i first started my account i went thru the security section and activated what i could. I have enjoyed this game and working toward a goal but after this i have cancelled my sub and i will not renew it. The same thing happened to my gold on RS3 and it has made me regret putting so much money into this game. I am sorry for ranting but this just irritates me that there is no real help when something happens to people in your community.

You know, your account starts from a position of security and it's what you do after that point that potentially results in it becoming compromised.

If your account has been accessed and things taken, then it was something you did.

It's good that you've used the tools available to secure the account, but something you've done has let someone else get through even those. If they haven't taken them off/disabled them, that possibly means they have access to your second factor.

In some cases, it's not your RS account as such that gets compromised, but your email - if someone has control of your email, they can do pretty much anything to your account in way of disabling MFA, passwords resets etc.

I hear the frustration, but you need to try and figure out where you're going wrong. Next time, it could be something important like your bank details, rather than some game.

There are lots of resources available - the guy above has posted some of these.

If the hijacker disabled Authenticator, then they have access to your email account.

If Authenticator was still active, and accepting your codes, then they either phished a code from you, and trusted their own PC with it, or they have access to your PC via a RAT or keylogger.

Please run through the security advice I linked and make sure you secure everything. Do both virus and malware scans on your PC.
