I was wondering where to pitch an idea I had.

Would it be possible to get a new follower who occasionally shouts something encouraging, or praises your accomplishments? Others even do not have to see this, it is actually your fan. But if they are willing, they can always right click and get something praiseworthy to hear about the player the fan follower belongs to, or even hair something encouraging to the player hem/herself.

Edit: What about a bobblehead who runs after you, holding up a laurel wreath, wearing a toga, walking around on sandals

I wouldn't have one myself but have no objections to others having them ......:

As long as I can toggle it off and don't have to hear/read those belonging to people around me.

And they could not be placed in banks or the GE, or around bank chests or deposit boxes, or at World Events given that these sorts of locations are already very cluttered during times such as DXP and so on.

As long as only you can see what the pet is saying and not others, sure.

Those banners don't follow you around like a pet.

What about Mini Meg? Meg is the biggest fan of the player!

This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Tren, thanks for moving the pitch.

And the follower is primarily meant to flatter the player self, not spam the others. Hence the right click-ability where others can ask to be spammed (a bit).

@Archaeox: Lol

And for the more classically inclined players: If memory served Julius Caesar once had a parade through Rome, after victor on Vercingetorix I think. A slave standing behind him holding the laurel wreath over his head, and whispering in his ear. What, I do not remember, but something meant to keep him grounded.

Apparently, the slave said 'Memento homo', meaning "remember you are only human".

I like that too, but it would look perhaps abit too serious. Plus, slavery is frowned upon now. Mini Meg seems a more human-friendly option.
