I wanted to come back to my old account from 2011, but it appears it has been locked. When I am following instructions into Jagex support concerning locked accounts, I need to provide security questions, which I don't recognize and don't remember anyway. I got the mail connected to the account with the mails from Jagex when I made the account. Is there any chance to get it back or no chance?

You will need to provide enough information to prove that YOU created the account.

The security questions are not that important. What is really important is the creation information: Creation date - Creation ISP - Creation location - early Password - early Payment information.

Have a read of the Denied password resets support page for some tips about the kind of information Jagex want to see on the recovery form.

I tried to dig out all the information I could. I don't have the bank card anymore with which I could have paid for anything on this account. I provided the bank account tho. I am still getting denied. I don't know what else I could provide to prove I am actually the owner... but this account is so much nostalgia for me I can't get over it. At least could you tell me which information is incorrect or something? Or if there is anything else I could provide to prove my ownership of this account please let me know. Maybe some mails from Jagex from 2011 on the mail conencted to the account... anything. All the help will be greatly appreciated. Best regards.

We are all players in here, not Jagex mods - we cannot see into your account or the recovery you are submitting.

Click on the link in the 'deny' email to find out the reasons for the deny as that is the information you need to improve on your next attempt.

How quickly does the 'deny' email arrive after you submit a recovery?
- less than five minutes?
- more than fifteen minutes?
Knowing the answer to this will help us to tailor advice to you.

I would say it's practically instantaneous, which doesn't seem good for my case... I honestly can't provide any more information than I did about this account even tho I made it... I know I kinda ask for something practically impossible to do at this point, so I think, as hard as it is, I am gonna give up on this account and not bother you anymore. You said its "locked" can you just try to reset password if the email is one you have
access to?

Also make 100 percent sure you are providing the Log in and not display name. Make sure
that is correct.

The recovery questions are not as important as creation details. Are you near or do you live
at same place it was created?

The recovery process is 2 parts.. part one is getting passed the computer which means
you need to have the creation part pretty close.

The 2nd part is when its more than the 15 min and a Jmod is actually looking at the
"other" box you filled out. Do not post anything like game progression or friends list.
Putting in things like other accounts you played or created while playing the locked
account is helpful.
The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.

Right now I moved to another country. My creation details are based on a mail from Jagex when i was creating the account. I think i was logging in with a mail not Log in name. The only name I know is in the emails from Jagex but I believe its the display name not the log in one.

Emails from Jagex are addressed to the display name, not to the login.
If you want to confirm the login, use the tool on the Forgotten login support page.

Your problem is that you are now in another country.
Runescape accounts only move location well if they have Authenticator security attached.
If you don't have Authenticator set on the account you need to nail the creation information with a great deal of accuracy.
